Growing Fond of You, Mr Nian

Chapter 413 - You Finally Found a Perfect Excuse to Talk to Me

“Before I answer your question, you need to answer mine.” Nian Junting threw the question back at her. “Has Yi Jingxi touched the private parts of your body?”

As Luo Sang stayed silent, Nian Junting felt extremely uncomfortable. He abruptly stood up. Luo Sang’s face darkened as she said, “I’m asking you the questions now. Don’t change the subject.”

“I didn’t. Please answer my question.” Nian Junting stared at her sullenly.

Luo Sang was so angry. She put down her chopsticks, turned, and walked into the study, as she really didn’t want to talk to him. In the study, she began reviewing her lessons. Soon, Nian Junting walked in with his hands behind his back. He slowly paced before his bookshelf, seemingly trying to find a book.

Luo Sang ignored him.

He picked a book and went out. But before long, he came back in and kept looking for books. A while later, he put the first book back onto the shelf, then took another one and left.

Luo Sang studied for an hour, and during that hour, Nian Junting came in six times. He walked in almost every ten minutes to distract Luo Sang. The last time he came in, Luo Sang was beyond tolerance. “How many times are you gonna switch your book?”

“There are so many books. It’s never an easy thing to find a good one.” Nian Junting turned and said with a proud face, “But, you finally found the perfect excuse to talk to me.”

Luo Sang was speechless.

He had kept coming in and out only to make her initiate the conversation. Luo Sang believed that Nian Junting was the most shameless man she had ever seen.

“Alright, forget it. I’ll study in the guest room,” Luo Sang stood up.

“Why go to the guest room? Aren’t you gonna sleep with me?”

Luo Sang didn’t respond.

He took the book, walked to her, and continued with a serious expression, “I didn’t sleep in the guest room when I was mad at you. Aren’t you going too far?”

Luo Sang raised her head and said, “Are you pretending? Or do you really not know that I’m angry?”

“Why would I be pretending? I am a very frank, honest, and upright person,” said Nian Junting. “You’re angry because you’re jealous, right? I don’t think you need to be jealous. I’m not in touch with her anymore. I’m not jealous of Yi Jingxi. Can’t you just learn from me?”

Luo Sang even wanted to vomit blood. You’re not jealous? she thought. I think you’re super, super jealous. “I’m done talking with you. Stop bothering me.” Luo Sang picked up her book and prepared to leave.

Nian Junting clasped her wrist, saying, “I think you can be angry, but you have to sleep with me. Sleeping separately will affect our relationship.”

Luo Sang thought for a moment, then replied, “I can sleep with you, but I don’t want to talk to you. Don’t disturb me.”

Nian Junting blinked, then nodded and said, “Alright.”

Back in the bedroom, they took showers separately, then Luo Sang turned on the TV with the remote control. Nian Junting sat by the desk, checking the stock prices and the news with an iPad. Only the sounds from the TV could be heard. Soon after, Yan Su called Luo Sang. “When are you gonna come back to school?”

“Tomorrow. Have you moved back into the apartment yet?” Luo Sang felt guilty. Because of her, Yan Su wasn’t able to live in the apartment she had rented.

“Yeah. I want to know if you’ll still live there or not,” said Yan Su.

“I will. I’ll go back tomorrow.” Luo Sang smiled. “We’ve only been apart for ten days, but it feels like ten years. Wait for me. We’ll have a big meal together.”

“Sure, I’ll be expecting you,” Yan Su said.

Luo Sang ended the call, then looked up to find Nian Junting sitting beside her with a long face.
