Upon seeing their expression, Madam Zhang immediately knew that she was wasting her breath on them and walked up the stairs with a grim look on her face.
Zhang Mingxi stared at her departing figure and lit a cigarette out of annoyance.
“Brother Mingxi, what happened?” Shen Anan came in, only to see Zhang Mingxi smoking with his eyebrows furrowed.
Upon seeing that it was Shen Anan who had walked in, Zhang Mingxi stood up with a ‘peng’ and his eyes lit up. “Anan, have you seen Mr. Kyle?”
“I have.” Shen Anan lowered her voice and a glint flashed past her eyes. “Let’s talk in the study room.”
In the study room upstairs.
Once the video call got connected, the screen showed a man’s back facing them, and he was in a room with a white background.
Su Huiqing glanced at him and gave a light chuckle. “Nothing. Let’s go out.”
The Ye Family was a secret clan in the International Association. Some members of the International Association may not be aware, and hence, it’s not strange that Old Master Yu never heard of them before.
Both of them went downstairs. Old Master Yu proudly looked at his grandson and patted his shoulder. “My good grandson, you have changed a lot.”
It left Yu Xiangyang confused. He did not do anything but still received praise all of a sudden? What the heck?
Old Master Yu did not carry on the conversation, only looking at Su Huiqing’s figure. “She does have a lot of secrets…”
“Zhang Mingxi and his family tried so hard to associate themselves with the International Association. If they were to know that the daughter-in-law they discarded had a close relationship with the International Association…” Old Master Yu looked at her grandson and gave him a big smile. “It is Zhang Mingxi’s loss. But not bad, grandson! Not bad!”
“Of course!” Yu Xiangyang scratched the back of his head. “The Zhang Family is too much. We should invest in the Su Corporation and piss the Zhang Family off!”
“We don’t need that for the meantime.” The Old Master Yu watched Su Huiqing turn into a corner and gave him a faint yet evil smile. “Your Miss Su wants to deal with them herself. Let’s leave some time for her to finish them off.”
