Growing Fond of You, Mr Nian

Chapter 1129 - Isn’t Tingting Cheap Enough?

“Yeah.” Nian Xi laughed. “We thought he wouldn’t come out before Christmas. My brother was gonna name him ‘Little Egg’, but he tried so hard to come to this world on Christmas Eve.”

Yan Su felt speechless.

Perhaps the baby knew what his father thought, so he came out at the last minute before Christmas. Impressive.

“Eh… that would be a… unique nickname,” she smiled and said. If the baby was named ‘Little Egg’, he would hate that name when he grew up.

Luosang gave Nian Junting a glare and said, “I told you I don’t like that name. When I was in the delivery room, he took the opportunity and picked the nicknames. He said if the baby was born at Christmas Eve, he’ll be called Little Apple, and if it was Christmas, he’ll be called Little Egg. Thankfully, my son came out before Christmas.”

Nian Junting responded carelessly, “He’s a boy. A boy doesn’t need a nice nickname. In ancient times, people named their children with the words that sounded cheap, so the kids could grow up good and healthy.”

“Why don’t you have a cheap nickname then?” Luosang couldn’t help but ask.

Nian Junting gave her a cold glance and replied with, “Isn’t Tingting cheap enough?”

How could Tingting be compared with Little Egg?

Luosang gave a sigh. Yes, it is, she thought. You’re a cheap father.

Yan Su laughed. “I thought your due date was in January.”

“Yeah, but the little one couldn’t wait.” Luosang sighed. “Everything was fine yesterday afternoon, but at night, my water suddenly broke. It was normal though. I was already ten months pregnant anyway.”

“Did it… hurt?” Yan Su asked.

Luosang nodded. “I thought I’d pass out, but at the time, you have no time to think. All I wanted was for him to come out sooner. It’s mostly because Little Apple is a big baby. He weighed nearly four kilograms. Su, if you ever got pregnant, don’t let the baby grow too large, or the birth process might be hard.”

Yan Su nodded.

Nian Xi couldn’t help but ask, “Yan Su, why are you listening to that so carefully? You’re young. You have plenty of time to get ready for that.”

Hearing that, Mo Liuxi raised his brows and looked at Yan Su. Yan Su blushed a little and said, “Well, I’ll have a baby sooner or later. Learning a little about it won’t do any harm. Oh, where are your other families?”

“They were all here until three or four in the morning. I told them to get some rest and come back later,” said Nian Junting blandly.

Yan Su gave Little Apple a red envelope, then had a little chat with Luosang until Little Apple woke up.

“Go and see if he pooed,” said Luosang.

“I don’t want to. He stinks.” Nian Junting didn’t move.

Luosang stared at him angrily.

Mo Liuxi walked over, carefully lifted the baby and unwrapped the diaper. The baby had really pooed. He wiped the baby with a wet paper towel, then put a clean diaper on him. His movements were a little rusty, but he didn’t seem to be disgusted at all.

Watching him do that, Yan Su’s heart leaped. She wasn’t expecting him to be more patient to the baby than Nian Junting. He would certainly be a good father in the future.

With that thought, she felt delighted.

Nian Xi complimented Mo Liuxi too. “Liuxi, you’re one of the few good men I’ve ever met. If I was five years younger, I’d pursue you. My brother is a father now, but still awful. What father doesn’t change his son’s diapers? What’s worse is that he’s afraid of the baby’s poo. Didn’t he poo like that too when he was a baby?”

“All right. You do it if you’re not afraid of it,” said Nian Junting.
