Chapter 1074 - Falling Onto His Lap
Lu Jinwen was looking through his documents, not interested in the situation outside. He wasn’t that fond of noisy places like bars at all, but he stayed behind since he was worried for her safety.
Since he was still building his career, he had to put in much more time and effort into work. He even had to spend two weeks in the States for his IPO[1], he would only have more time to spend with her after everything stabilized.
He didn’t have any other goal in his mind in this lifetime, the only goal was to build an entire business empire to provide her with the best things in life.
He suddenly heard some loud applause and cheering. Secretary Ye bent over, informing him, “Sir, look. Miss Xuanji has gone up on stage to perform pole dancing.”
Lu Jinwen took his eyes off the documents, his gaze landing on the stage. Lin Xuanji had already gone up.
The men all stood up, some even standing on the chair to cheer. “Sister Xuanji, Sister Xuanji!”

Lu Jinwen furrowed his brows once he heard them calling her that, he was clearly filled with displeasure.
Lu Jinwen tapped his cigarette above the ashtray, some ash falling on his trousers. He brushed away the ash, lifting his eyes to look at her with his lips raising into a suggestive smile. “What are you doing there? Weren’t you having a great time just now? Come on Baby, perform for me now.”

Regardless of whether him calling her ‘Baby’ was sincere or not, with that deep, magnetic voice, he sounded really sexy calling her that.
“Ha, ha ha.” Lin Xuanji let out some awkward laughter. “I was just dancing for fun just now.”
Lu Jinwen puffed on the cigarette, looking at her with his deep-set eyes, not forgetting to look at her from head to toe a few times.
The way he looked at her was so blatant, his glance more than somewhat suggestive.
Somehow, Lin Xuanji felt really shy, as though he had seen through her soul, even though she was fully clothed.
“Let me go outside first, my friends are still waiting for m–”
Before she could even finish her words, Lu Jinwen broke her off. “I’ve already gotten my secretary to chauffeur your friends home.”

Lu Jinwen patted his lap. “Come and sit over here.”
On his lap?
Lin Xuanji’s heart pounded, she turned around, wanting to leave. But a large hand reached over, grasping her wrist securely before tugging on it.
She fell onto his muscular chest.
“Ah!”
She shrieked, her hands waving around to grab onto anything that she possibly could, but she ended up grabbing his silver breastpin.
The silver breastpin was slightly cold, making her feel shocked once she touched it. His shirt was crumpled after being tugged on by her, somehow accentuating his devilish charms.
After the entire mess, she ended up kneeling on his lap.
Lifting her eyes, his defined facial features were right in front of her. She pouted her lips, acting coyly. “What are you doing?”
“What am I doing? You should ask yourself that. You seduced me with that pole dance and now you’re playing hard to get. You’re a scheming little one.”
“I’m not…”
“Alright, I admit that I did fall for it. You were really attractive when you were on the stage pole dancing just now. But this has to be the last time, I won’t allow you to come out and dance for other men, understood?”
He was a concise man, this time he was being very patient while explaining things to her.
Lin Xuanji was just like a child who made a mistake, she had no way of rebutting him. She puffed up her cheeks. “Understood.”
“Separate your legs,” he ordered.
Her legs were together, kneeling on his lap.
Lin Xuanji blushed. “No.”
“You’re not being good?” Lu Jinwen had the cigarette between his lips, lowering his head to pull her legs apart gently. Her legs were now separated and she was straddling him.
This man was as overbearing and domineering as usual.
Caught in this intimate position with him, Lin Xuanji felt shy and didn’t know where to look at all.
