Chapter 39 – Demons of Sixth High (1)
On Saturday, at seven in the morning, Chen Yu was awakened by the ringing of his phone’s alarm.
“Ugh…”
After waking up, Chen Yu wearily reached out and grabbed his phone from under his pillow, then turned off the alarm. His eyes remained squinted as he waited for his consciousness to come online.

After lying in bed half-asleep for several minutes, Chen Yu got up and changed out of his pajamas. He then walked out of his room to wash up in the bathroom. When he exited his room, he immediately came across Chen Yike packing her backpack in the living room.

“…” Holding his forehead, Chen Yu hurriedly took out a five-yuan note and squeezed it into Chen Erke’s hand. “I’ll give this to you. Don’t simply spend it.”
Hesitantly, Chen Erke said, “It’s not as big as Big Sister’s.”

Ten minutes later, Mother Chen woke up and walked out of her room while yawning. Seeing the three Chen siblings in the living room, she asked in surprise, “Why are you all up so early?”
“My class has activities today,” Chen Yike said.

“Can’t you believe that your son can score within the class’s top 25?”

After finishing breakfast, Chen Yu accompanied Chen Yike to her school.
“Make sure to be careful when hiking. Don’t go crazy together with your classmates.”
“I know.”
“Listen to your teachers. Make sure to follow your teachers wherever they go. Don’t get lost.”
“I know!”
“Have you brought anything to eat?”
“I brought some bread and potato chips. They’ll distribute food boxes on the bus.”
“Mhm.” Chen Yu nodded in satisfaction upon hearing his sister’s reply. Before parting, he said, “No dating. I’ll break your leg otherwise.”

After speaking his mind, Chen Yu parted ways with Chen Yike in front of the latter’s school. He then made his way toward his school.
Five minutes later, Chen Yu arrived at Sixth High and climbed to the fourth floor in accordance with the test admission card he received previously.
It’s just a monthly test. Do they have to make such a huge fuss?
When Chen Yu entered the exam venue, however, he was stunned. Hurriedly, he exited the classroom and took a look at the class sign at the entrance.
“Year 3, Class 1… It’s correct.” Confused, Chen Yu double-checked his admission card. “Year 3, Class 1… It’s this place.
“B-But…why is there only one table and one chair inside?!”
Inside the large classroom that was over 100 square meters, there was only a single table and chair! No matter how he looked at it, this was definitely a strange scene!
“Student Chen Yu, why are you standing at the door?”
Suddenly, a woman’s voice came from behind him.
Hastily turning around, Chen Yu saw that it was his class’s English teacher calling him.
“Teacher! This… Isn’t this exam venue a little strange?”
“What’s strange about it?” the English teacher asked quizzically as she looked into the classroom.
“Why is there only one table in there? Is everyone going to be taking their tests on the floor?”
“It’s because this classroom was prepared solely for you!” the English teacher replied, smiling happily.
