Su Huiqing left after receiving that call.
Her expression was grim when she turned to leave.
Yu Shijin was still sitting on the sofa. He put down the newspapers.
After being deep in thought for a second, he called Chu Xuning on the phone. “Where are you guys?”
“Master Yu, chief detective, the men and I are all guarding the borders of Green City. They all came from the International Association.” Chu Xuning reported succinctly. “I have already sent you the details.”
Yu Shijin’s eyes hardened. He stood up and instructed as he headed outside. “Have everyone gathered at the military base. I am going over now.”
He strode out the door after exchanging some greetings with Uncle Chen.
But before he could say anything, he saw Yu Xiangyang easily leaping off from the second floor onto the first, before agilely hopping into Su Huiqing’s car. His smooth and athletic movements were completely different from the son he knew.
He then turned and observed the few escort guards whom Su Huiqing had left behind. They each wielded a long-barreled gun, keeping everyone in the hall firmly in check.
