Bank of the Universe

Chapter 265 - Planting Dragontooth Rice

Li Xiandao looked on as Seven and Tian Ya left. He returned to his room and took out the Dragontooth Rice.

Li Xiandao placed the Dragontooth Rice that Tian Ya shrunk onto the table.

“You can transform back and then we can have a chat.” Li Xiandao said calmly.

Dragontooth Rice returned to normal. It was half Tian Ya’s size. Its body was red in color and had five features.

It wasn’t strong but its body was filled with an ocean amount of energy.

This was the energy to reproduce.

“You are Tian Ya’s Granddad Deity?” Dragontooth Rice asked.

Li Xiandao nodded and said, “I am the owner of the Bank of the Universe. From now onwards, you belong to me.”

“The spiritual energy in the Ten Lands is too thin. The spiritual energy here is still decent. I think I can produce the Dragontooth Rice of a few hundred people.” Dragontooth Rice guessed.

“Good, then how long will it take you to reproduce once?” Li Xiandao asked.

“A month!” Dragontooth Rice said.

“So fast?” Li Xiandao was shocked. He thought that he would take half a year to a year.

“I am a top being in the world and even celestial artifacts aren’t even 1% of my worth. In the past, I was able to split into many clones and spread everywhere. No one would go hungry and no one would die from old age.” Dragontooth Rice reminisced about the past.

It had been destroyed by the Celestial World expert then and been resting for many years, slowly recovering but it was still far from its peak state.

“Then, why did you sign the contract with Tian Ya?” Li Xiandao asked.

“She is the one destined for me. That year when that bastard destroyed me, he grabbed my source and used a formation to suppress me. This was why I was trapped on that island for tens of thousands of years. Even when half of my body was recovered, I still wasn’t able to escape.” Dragontooth Rice sighed.

“If she hadn’t dug me out, I wouldn’t even be out now and you wouldn’t be able to find me. The island was surrounded by formations and only Tian Ya could enter.” Dragontooth Rice exclaimed.

“I understand!” Li Xiandao nodded and looked at Dragontooth Rice.

“Do you need soil to produce new Dragontooth Rice?” Li Xiandao asked.

“I do. You need to provide me with farmland.” Dragontooth Rice nodded.

Li Xiandao stood up and walked outwards. “Follow me, I will bring you there!”

He couldn’t bring him to the Ten Thousand Country Book Depository as the entire mountain was a book depository. There were book spirits within and it wasn’t suitable as farmland.

He couldn’t head to Legacy Hall as many spirits and souls were buried there. If he farmed there, then wouldn’t he be planting rice on their coffins?

He couldn’t head to Seal Mountain Peak as it was covered in seals and if they were damaged, Li Xiandao would feel really heartpained.

Thinking about it, Time Hall was the only one left.

On the Time Hall mountain peak, only one Time Hall stood in the middle. The other areas were empty.

It was really suitable to open up farmland.

Li Xiandao brought the Dragontooth Rice over. He reached out and pointed at the ground.

Explosion!

The ground rolled. Like an earth dragon surging out of the ground, numerous pieces of farmland were opened up.

He directed water to wet the soil and after forming a standard plot of farmland, Dragontooth Rice flew down and scattered its seeds.

“Just wait. One month from now, the new Dragontooth Rice will be born.” Dragontooth Rice was looking forward to it.

Tens of thousands of years had passed and this was the first batch of seeds he planted since he returned.
