Chapter 506 - : Xi Jin Looked For Feng Tianlan
Feng Tianlan looked at Luo Yunzhu. She worried about her friend in her heart. She was deeply worried that she might fall in love with Xi Jin. With Yunzhu’s attitude, she had no idea how she would suffer at Shen Yunya’s hands.
Therefore, the best solution was to have her stay away from them and to stop her from falling in love with Xi Jin.
Feng Tianlan continued looking after Si Mobai who was in deep slumber. After a while, there was another knock on the door. She thought it was Luo Yunzhu again, so she went and opened the door. What she saw instead was Xi Jin’s gentle eyes. His green shirt, on top of his gentle temperament, made him look like a high-grade Hetian Jade.
“Miss Feng,” Xi Jin called out gently after seeing Feng Tianlan. Ever since that glance from her the other day, he couldn’t get her out of his mind as if the idea had embedded itself deeply within his mind. It made him continue thinking that she was actually Dai’er.
He was fully aware that he had already found Dai’er. Having such thoughts was not right, but he just couldn’t help it.
Feng Tianlan’s eyes went cold and she spoke in a cold voice, “Is there any matter?”
“Can I speak with Miss Feng alone?”
Feng Tianlan gave him a cold reply immediately, “No.” She wanted to close the doors right after saying that.
She was afraid that he might recognize her. She was also afraid that this was one of Shen Yunya’s schemes where she used Xi Jin to test her. Hence, she could only pretend not to know him.
Xi Jin reached out immediately and stopped the door. “Miss Feng, I have no ill intentions.”
Feng Tianlan raised his head and sneered. “You hit my man, and now you’re telling me you have no ill intentions?”
He really had no ill intentions. However, he had been unintentionally hurting her ever since he started mistaking Tu Xiupei for Dai’er. This ignorance made her feel sadder than all other ill intentions.
If he hadn’t eaten the dumplings, she could still tell him that she was the real Dai’er. _that Tu Xiupei was a fake.
However, there was no ‘if’. He ate a bowl of dumplings made out of her flesh and blood. He ate the person he cared about the most.
What will happen to him if she were to reveal her identity now? He would go crazy. His whole life would be ruined just like that. Perhaps he might not be able to handle this blow and might kill himself…
Therefore, since he ate those dumplings, she had lost the opportunity to tell him the truth.
“He hit Dai’er first.” Xi Jin frowned. He didn’t usually make enemies, but he refused to be bullied either.
Feng Tianlan sneered and said sarcastically, “How many times do you want me to repeat myself? She is Tu Xiupei, not Dai’er. Could she be an illegitimate child of some Supreme in Xuantian Continent? Is that why you came here specifically for her?”
“No…”
Feng Tianlan interrupted him angrily, “Then what is it? Tu Xiupei was born and raised in Guiyuan Continent. Her mother was from Guiyuan Continent. So tell me, how is she related to Xuantian Continent in any way?”
“She is…” Xi Jin raised his head and looked at the angry woman in front of him. He wanted to say that she was Dai’er, but he just couldn’t say it out. He felt guilty.
Feng Tianlan continued insisting in a deep tone, “She is Tu Xiupei, not anyone else!”
“She is Dai’er. She—” Xi Jin wanted to argue, but he couldn’t bring himself to say the words. He felt a pang of inexplicable guilt and lost his courage when he faced Feng Tianlan.
She had obviously been bullying Dai’er several times. He wanted to do enact justice on her behalf, but he couldn’t do it every time he looked into her eyes.
Watching him firmly believe that Tu Xiupei was her, Feng Tianlan lost the strength to remind him again. “Alright, even if she is Dai’er, does that mean that you should ignore all that is right and affirm the wrongs for her?”
“It was Si Mobai who hit her first. It is wrong for a man to hit a woman no matter what.” Besides, he wouldn’t allow others to bully Dai’er.
“Why did Mobai hit her?” Looking at Xi Jin who remained silent, Feng Tianlan sneered softly. “I am so disappointed in you.”
