Young Master Gu, Please Be Gentle

Chapter 1172 - Lying on His Bed

Ah Xiao fell into Lu Yeming’s embrace. She could get drunk on his masculine scent permeating her nose.

“Young Master,” she called out in a soft voice. Her eyes were bright and watery.

Lu Yeming lowered his handsome face to look at the pretty face in his embrace. His lips curved upwards slowly.

Devilish, lustful.

Jun Xiqing was still in her room. She took out a piece of paper and drew out the outline of the entire West Palace.

Big Brother was currently being held in the underground jail and was going to be executed by shooting tomorrow. She needed Lu Yeming’s fingerprint to access the underground jail. She couldn’t go in without it.

She had to see Big Brother in the underground jail before he was executed tomorrow.

How was he this confident?

But he did have reason to be.

“West Duke… are you really that keen… on being a Xiao Shou?” Jun Xiqing said as she batted her eyelashes.

Lu Yeming pressed his thin lips together. “What do you mean?”

“If I drugged and raped you, wouldn’t I be giving and you be receiving?”

“…”

Lu Yeming’s deep eyes turned cold. He reached out with his strong arm to hold her slim waist.

This time, Jun Xiqing didn’t avoid his touch. She waited for him to put his arms on her, on the fingerprint-sensitive clothing she had on underneath. Then her mission would be complete.

Even if the famous West Duke Lu Yeming was gay, he would definitely be the one giving. She found it hard to imagine him being a Xiao Shou.

Lu Yeming was about to put his fingers on her when he suddenly stopped.

Jun Xiqing’s heart pounded. What was wrong?

At this moment, he gave a faint smile, then he reached up and touched her face.

He was touching her face.

Jun Xiqing froze. Had he realized something? Half of her face was in his hand and he rubbed her skin with his rough fingers. An unfamiliar current surged from his touch, making her feel as though the skin he was touching was burning.

“West Duke, don’t be like this.” Jun Xiqing pushed him away.

But he didn’t budge. His fingers slid downwards to pinch her chin, forcing her to look at him.

His deep and narrow eyes remained calm as his look turned devious. “You already know how I feel about you, yet you still insist on delivering yourself to me. You’re doing this on purpose but still refuse to take off your clothes. Wan Wan, you’re too hypocritical.”

Wan Wan.

She could feel her ear go numb as he called her nickname in a deep voice.

Jun Xiqing’s eyelashes quivered. That’s right, she already knew about his shallow feelings for her.

He wanted to have her.

Perhaps he knew her feelings for him. Every time they were near each other, every time they touched, her heartbeat would quicken.

Rapidly, illogically.

The two of them were testing each other, like two enemies exchanging blows. They might have their knives at each other’s throats the next second.

He had his wild heart, and she had her responsibilities. They were fated to walk different paths.

But still, they continued to attract each other.

Even in a sea of people, they would be able to recognize each other in one look.

The two of them were magnets of opposite poles. It was easy for sparks to fly between them. He had yet to propose, and she had yet to marry. A perfect meeting in the prime of their youth would just be the beginning of a great story.

But that story was fated to never have an ending.

She liked him, but he had destroyed her entire family, hurt her entire nation. She wouldn’t hesitate to end his life or put him in mortal danger.

He liked her, but this didn’t stop him from liking other women. He was young, arrogant and extremely intelligent. He expected to get something in return for his affection.

But his affection was too shallow.

Jun Xiqing looked sideways, wanting to get away from his hands. But Lu Yeming refused to let her go. He held her chin firmly, not letting her move. “Feed me the hangover soup.”

What did he just say?

Lu Yeming’s gaze landed on her red lips. His low voice was laced with authority. “Do you not understand? Feed me with your lips.”

He…

Jun Xiqing’s face turned red. He had never been with a woman before but it seemed as though he was experienced in toying with women.

“Never!” she rebutted.

Lu Yeming retracted his hand and said, “Then you can leave.”

“…”

How could she leave?

She still hadn’t gotten his fingerprint!

Jun Xiqing was already sure at this moment that he recognized her.

He just hadn’t revealed her yet.

The moment he did, they would be enemies.

She had caused him to get shot in Country Z. He would have to report the wound on his chest sooner or later.

Lu Yeming didn’t take a second look at her. He turned around and took off his tie, throwing it onto his bed. He undid two buttons on his shirt, revealing a small sliver of his chest.

It was as if his bronze skin was glimmering, his muscles firm and tight. He wasn’t built like a wall and instead his figure gave him an air of authority and superiority.

Jun Xiqing took a sip of hangover soup and pounced on him. Standing on her toes, she pressed her lips against his.

Lu Yeming froze and let her kiss him.

With her lips on his, she pushed her tongue through his teeth. As he parted his mouth, she fed him the mouthful of soup.

She could taste the wine faintly in his mouth. He didn’t look drunk at all, but in actual fact, he was drunk and slightly tipsy now.

Jun Xiqing opened his eyes to look at her and he frowned. His emotional face made his look especially handsome.

She backed away.

At this moment, Lu Yeming reached out to put his strong arms around her slim waist, pulling her into his embrace. His legs knocked against the bed frame, and they all tumbled into the vast bed.

Suddenly, Jun Xiqing was on top of him. She wanted to get up but his hands were cupped the back of her head firmly. “So you’re leaving after you’ve gotten what you want. Wan Wan, who taught you to throw me away once you were done?”

She already had his fingerprints.

He was whispering her nickname softly in her ear again.

It tickled, and Jun Xiqing’s heart seemed to melt. She knew that their love was mixed in with ploys and calculations, that it wasn’t real, but that didn’t stop her from being attracted to him.

“Wan Wan,” Lu Yeming said in a voice only the two of them could hear as he cracked open one eye. “I’ve never indulged so much in a woman before. I’ll give you one last chance. Stay by my side and be my woman.”

Be his woman.

Jun Xiqing raised her innocent eyes to look at him. “Alright, I can be your woman, but….”

She looked at him and enunciated each word carefully. “I want you to get rid of the palace and set up the rule of monogamy. I want you to swear on your mother’s name that you will only have one woman, me, in your entire life.”

Lu Yeming looked at her with misty eyes and shook his head. “No.”

“Why? You can’t bear to leave Ye Ruge whom you have such deep feelings for? Or are you afraid that you won’t be able to keep your promise and will eventually stray with some young and beautiful woman outside?”

Lu Yeming looked at her deeply and remained silent.

A smile crossed her features. “Look, I can see this is the extent of how much you like me.”

Lu Yeming’s eyes darkened. He raised his head and kissed her red lips. Jun Xiqing struggled as hard as she could but he took her hands and put them on his chest. His shirt was half-off and her soft fingers brushed across the wound on his chest.

This was what she left with him.

The wound had healed, but there was a scar left in its place.

Jun Xiqing froze. Her hand rested on his chest and she could feel his strong heartbeat. Feeling the fight in her leave, she slowly closed her eyes and returned his kiss.

Lu Yeming fell asleep quickly. Beside him, Jun Xiqing lay on his chest. As the storm raged outside, she never imagined that he would be sleeping on his bed, let alone sleeping beside him.
