Chapter 218 - Did You Forget That I’m the Miracle Doctor
Anyone in the potion discipline knew that the most important quality of a potion was its purity level.
With a greater level of purity, the effectiveness of the concocted potion would be increased greatly.
Usually, potion makers were naturally talented and nurtured from young. When they reached this age, they could basically all already realize their best potential.
This was also why the teacher had high hopes towards the Yu Xiangyang—as a novice, he could already concoct a potion with 65% purity.
However, unexpectedly…
He still witnessed a purity level of 90%—this was a huge feat even for high-level potion makers.
The potion teacher took this medicine with 90% purity and sent a video to the Ye Family. “Patriarch, I’ve discovered a medicine with 90% purity in my lab.”
“90%?” The Ye Family patriarch’s expression changed to an obviously joyous one. “It’s Cha-cha?”
At this instant, not to mention Qing Zi, even Gu Li and the other two were slightly shocked. “Hmm?”
“There’s slight paleness in his red face, his blood is agglutinated, stagnant, deficient, and weak—this is a classical blood disorder. I estimate that currently, he can’t even command half of his skills.” Su Huiqing leisurely picked up a piece of vegetable with her chopsticks.
“How did you know?” Qing Zi widened her eyes.
Su Huiqing glanced sideways at her and raised her brow, her eyelashes concealing her glimmering eyes. “Did you forget that I’m the miracle doctor?”
Qing Zi was enlightened.
She had been playing games with Su Huiqing for the past few days.
She almost forgot that Su Huiqing had accomplished a huge feat once she came to the school. She looked at Su Huiqing, bedazzled. “Then is there a cure for that master of the Dugu Family?”
“Indeed, there’s one way.” Su Huiqing brushed her hair. “However, the premium herbs that can be found in the International Association now are too rare.”
The few of them finished their meal.
When they were about to foot their bill, the person at the counter said very politely and respectfully, “Someone has paid for all of you.”
She was slightly more awestruck with them than when they just reached.
Yu Xiangyang who was talking out his wallet was stunned—he instinctively looked at Su Huiqing.
Su Huiqing received a call from Su Ruohua. She had her earphones on, there were no changes in her eyes, and she spoke even more mildly, “Of course I’m fine, I had a free meal.”
Upon hearing her words, Yu Xiangyang and the rest knew that nothing was wrong.
The group left in smiles.
After they left, Dugu Heng and the butler of the Dugu Family slowly emerged from the table in the adjacent room.
“Miracle doctor?” Dugu Heng stood by the staircase with his head slightly hung, as if he was thinking of something.
However, the butler was in shock. Not many people knew about Dugu Heng’s injury—even the fact that Dugu Heng could only command half of his skills was only known to himself other than Dugu Heng.
Even that Ye Family patriarch couldn’t tell exactly how bad was the master’s injury, even after examining thoroughly.
That Su Huiqing…
The butler was even more mystified by Su Huiqing. “Master, shall we send people to find out more from Su Huiqing?”
Dugu Heng shook his head mildly. “No need.”
Su Huiqing knew that Dugu Heng was at the table in the adjacent room and had intentionally said those words.
After chatting with Su Ruohua, she hung up. Her phone lit up again and displayed a message—”Beware of the Ye Family.”
The coldness could be felt even from the screen.
Su Huiqing smiled, stuffed the earphones back into her pocket, looked down, pressed on her phone, and replied, “Yup. Nurse your injury in peace.”
At the other end of the phone, Yu Shijin looked at the lit up screen.
The flickering candlelight made him appear tall, gorgeous, cold, and majestic.
His eyes and hair were in the same shade of black.
Suddenly, a man in black pushed the door open and entered. Despite the candlelight, his looks seem blurry.
The chief detective was about to stop him before he bounced off the transparent shield around that man in black.
“You’re dismissed.” Yu Shijin kept his phone with a mysterious look in his lowered eyes.
The chief detective supported himself on the ground, stood up, glanced at that man in black, wiped away the trail of blood beside his lips, and left the study room.
“You don’t have much time left.” The man in black spoke with a hoarse voice.
“This isn’t within your control.” Yu Shijin straightened his spine, looked at that man in black mildly, the side view of his face appeared even more defined, and he spoke very calmly, “You’d better leave the International Association by the end of today.”
