Chapter 201
Everyone in the courtyard were frozen as they stared at the new arrivals. They could hardly believe that the Underworld Army actually broke their 12-hour time limit promise!
“Despicable! Your leader promised that you lot will be back in 12 hours, yet you arrived way earlier than that!” Li Min shook his fist towards the armored man as he continued raging on. “So much for you promises!”
“Actually…” Fang Lin used that moment to explain about the time trick used by Underworld Army. To his surprise, Fang Lin saw that none of the Underworld Soldiers made a move. It was as if they were waiting for the orders of the armored man.
Upon hearing his explanation, the first thing that LI Min did was to get angry at Fang Lin.
“Hey Fang Xiushang, you should have told this to all of us earlier!”
“Hey! I just discovered it recently, and I was about to tell it to all of you earlier!” Fang Lin said as he vehemently defended himself. “I think we should stop worrying about that first. What we should do now was to face the enemies.”
“You are right. Then I guess we will just talk about what you did later.” Li Min said as he faced the Underworld Army sullenly. His eyes narrowed as he stared at the army’s weird behavior.
“What the hell are they doing? Why are they just there staring at us?” While Fang Lin was thinking of these things, he saw the armored man beckoning someone. The person the armored man was calling was a wizened old man.
The old man’s body was bent forward, as if his body was not that fit at all. But Fang Lin could sense a hidden power in the old man’s body.
The armored man whispered something on the old man’s ear. Minutes of tense silence passed by as everyone saw the armored man and the old man exchanging whispers with each other.
Since Fang Lin had Fang Xiushang on his space pocket, it was just easy for Fang Lin to project Fang Xiushang’s aura as his own.
From the looks of it, his appearance and aura as Fang Xiushang were even able to fool his master! That must be the reason why he was attacking Fang Lin now. Since Wang Hao knows about Fang Lin’s enmity with Fang Xiushang, he must have been using this moment to teach ‘Fang Xiushang’ a lesson.
“This is bad…” Fang Lin thought to himself as he realized that he must do something now, or else he will be a victim of mistaken assault. That will not be good for him.
Fang Lin’s mind went into an overdrive as he thought of the best solution to show Wang Hao that he was Fang Lin.
He scratched off the option to retract Fang Xiushang’s aura. It was because once he does this, everyone in the courtyard will discover that Fang Lin was faking himself as Fang Xiushang.
Fang Lin cannot also just say that he was Fang Lin to Wang Hao. It sounds ridiculous, and it might just serve to piss Wang Hao more.
The only thing that Fang Lin thinks will work was by using a statement that only he and Wang Hao knows. Since only he and Wang Hao knows that statement, that will serve as evidence on Fang Lin’s identity.
By using that way, Fang Lin can tell Wang Hao that he was Fang Lin without alerting others of his identity.
“Ok here goes..” Fang Lin took a deep breath as he said to Wang Hao,
“From what I can see, you’re a master of the Dao of Harem. As a fellow man, why don’t we talk about your Dao?” Fang Lin clearly remembered Wang Hao boasting about the Dao of Harem on one of their ‘private’ talks.
Fang Lin was sure that Wang Hao remembered talking about the Dao of Harem with Fang Lin.
Now that Fang Xiushang was saying something that must only be known by Fang Lin, that will just indicate to Wang Hao that the Fang Xiushang in front of him was actually Fang Lin!
Fang Lin hummed happily to himself as he saw Wang Hao pausing on his tracks. “Don’t be sad Master, I do not blame you for being mistaken in my identity. After all, my disguise skills were just that good. I can still forgive you as long as you do not repeat that fiasco.” He envisioned his Master’s pained expression while he was asking for Fang Lin’s forgiveness.
“Come now master, let’s end this skit now!” Fang Lin’s thoughts were in jumble as he waited for Wang Hao’s reply.
But instead of seeing a relieved or even an embarrassed Wang Hao, what Fang Lin saw was Wang Hao’s killing intent skyrocketing.
If his killing intent earlier was corporeal, the one he was releasing right now was so solid that it even stirred the rocks scattered on his feet.
Fang Lin gulped, clearly aware that Wang Hao was way more pissed right now, much angrier than what Fang Lin could remember.
All these killing intent were entirely focused on Fang Lin. Fang Lin froze in place, not knowing what to do next.
Wang Hao then spoke up, with his distorted voice failing to hide his rage.
“Young man, how do you want to die?” A sliver of light flashed as both of Wang Hao’s sword went slashing down towards Fang Lin!
