Chapter 236
“Wait.” Fang Yu paused as she gave Genie a wary look. “I just noticed it now, but you are technically using your power in this planet. How come you can do that?”
Fang Yu thought that Genie was using her power outside the planet. But she realized that Genie used her power at the surface of the planet, or else she could not trap Fang Yu with her mists. Logically speaking, that cannot be due to the restriction of the planets.
“Ah, my power was Nature Power. That was not following the path of cultivation, so it’s not heavily restricted.” Genie replied truthfully. “As for my Nature Power, it was related to Mist, like what you have seen earlier.”
“What the?” Fang Yu was shocked by that. “Doesn’t that mean that a Djinn with power at Ninth Stage can just go to any lower stage planets and wreak havoc there?”
Genie shook her head, which was a great feat, considering that Tang Li had her on a headlock. Tang Li sure loved to play rough.
“The Nature Power of the Djinns comes from all the living beings and all natural things. That is where we Djinn harness our Nature Power. If we willingly harm living beings or destroy natural things, our Nature Power will react adversely, making us lose strength. So we Djinn cannot just invade other places for once we did so, our power will plummet.”
“Bweak, bweak!” Tang Li said as she twisted Genie’s neck back and forth. “You shaid you are made of misht. Can you twisht yoar neck all awound?”
Fang Yu ignored the pushy Tang Li as she asked talked to Genie.
“But this former boss of yours forced you to fight. Doesn’t that mean you have been continuously weakened now?”
“Sadly yes.” Genie replied. “But we can recharge the lost Nature Power, but it takes much longer to do that. But my former boss was intelligent and knew about this. Once he sees me or other Djinns starting to weaken from the loss of power, he makes us retreat to recover.”
“… You’re right.” Before, Genie just treated Fang Yu respectfully. But now, there was also traces of worship on her eyes. Genie clenched her fists, showing Fang Yu her determination.
“My Nature Power is just as what you called it, the Mist Room. My power was specialized with trapping and containing enemies. My Mist Room was a different dimension created from the accumulation of all sorts of Mist that I absorbed throughout the years. Inside the Mist Room, I’m mostly invulnerable. But my offensive power in the Mist Room was nil, since my power was related to mists.”
“So you can trap enemies, be almost invulnerable but has weak attack.” Fang Yu seems to be not worried about Genie’s lack of firepower.
“Can you trap all 4 of them in the Mist Room?”
“I can, as long as all 4 of them were near me.” Genie replied quickly. “They can only go out of my room if I will it or once my Mist Room reaches its time limit.”
“What is the time limit?”
“It depends on my current power, and also on the power and the quantity of the people I trapped. With my condition and their condition right now, 10 minutes was the maximum.”
“…. How strong were they?”
“With all the injuries and power loss that we had, I reckon around the Fourth Stage.”
“……..”
“……”
“Sigh.” Fang Yu said as she grasped her head. Her only chance to defeat those four was in those ten minutes inside the Mist Room. But even with her current abilities now, the best she can do was to defeat one of them. Facing 4 at the same time? That’s just ridiculous.
“Okay. You trap those 4 in your Mist Room, then I will handle the rest.” Fang Yu said with a finality.
Even though Genie could feel that Fang Yu’s current power was not enough to deal with those 4, she saw the look in her eyes that shows her confidence.
“Roger.” Genie replied.
“It seems like I have to use my new bloodline ability then.” Fang Yu thought to herself ruefully. “Good thing Master Wang Hao also regained one of the abilities of his Space-Time Gyroscope. With that in hand, I can show those 4 who’s the boss!”
Fang Yu and Genie then stopped flying as they waited for the 4 Djinns to arrive.
5 minutes passed by, and Fang Yu felt 4 different auras coming towards them. One felt viscous but hot, the second felt refreshing but also prickling. The third one felt massive and full while the last one felt empty.
Genie closed her eyes as she readied her abilities. Tendrils of mist crawled all over her as she waited for the 4 to arrive at her area.
“Now!” Genie’s bronze disk let out massive amounts of mist that covered Genie, Fang Yu and the 4 newcomers.
A second passed by, and the mist disappeared.
As for Fang Yu, Genie and the 4 Djinns, they were now gone, disappearing along with the mist.
