Chapter 1280 - Lovey-Dovey
Whipping out his cell phone, Xuan Ying answered the call, “Hello.”
It was a rich heir on the other end. “Silver Mask King, we’re in a bar now. Do you want to come over and have some fun with us? There’s a popular social escort here with an E cup chest. She’s really stunning.”
Since he used the speaker mode, Xia Ling could overhear the rich heir’s words. She lifted her eyes, only to notice Xuan Ying glaring at her. He stretched his hand out, holding the phone to the side as he asked her, “Do you want me to go?”
Xia Ling’s eyes slightly reddened. “Go, go now!”

Her phone started ringing again.

He was calling her.
Xia Ling picked up her phone, first rejecting the call before she blocked his number. Placing her phone under her pillow, Xia Ling buried her face in the blankets and slept.

Even after lying on the bed for a while, she couldn’t fall asleep.
She could hear the sound of car horn beeping.
“Xia Ling!”
Someone was calling her name.
Xia Ling sprang up from the bed, not even putting on her slippers, she ran over to the window. Pulling open the curtain, she looked downstairs. A luxury car parked downstairs and a tall figure stood there.
“Xia Ling, come out!”
Xuan Ying was shouting loudly from downstairs, his gaze landed on her face.
“Xia Ling, why didn’t you reply to my text? Why didn’t you answer my call? Did you block me?
“Xia Ling, I’ll just ask you one question. Do you like me? Yes or no?”
He was completely dressed in black, the faint yellow lights shining on his broad shoulders and handsome face, he was just like a deity that descended from heaven.
As he continued to shout loudly, it alarmed the entire building of residents with his booming voice. They opened their windows and looked outside to check who was shouting in the middle of the night.
“It’s so late now, who’s making a ruckus? Do you have any courtesy?!”
“Exactly, if you shout again I’ll call the police!”…
From her position, Xia Ling could hear the residents complain loudly. They stood in front of the window, pointing fingers at Xuan Ying as they criticized him.
Swallowing down a breath, Xia Ling looked at the man downstairs in astonishment. Was he insane? It was almost 12 midnight and he actually came to her apartment and made a ruckus downstairs. How was she going to face her neighbors tomorrow?
When Xia Ling touched her face with both hands, she found that they were warm and most likely red.
“Xia Ling, it doesn’t matter whether you like me or not. Let me tell you now…” Xuan Ying pointed his finger at her overbearingly. “I–”
What was he going to say?
Xia Ling’s heart palpitated, wanting to kick him far away till he ended up in the Pacific Ocean, but at the same time, she wanted to hear what he was going to say.

Xuan Ying finally spoke.
But the next moment, one middle-aged lady threw a basket of vegetable leaves over his head. “Shut up!”
Xuan Ying, “…”
Xia Ling, “…”

Xuan Ying still stood there, but his head was covered with vegetable leaves.
One. Two. Three… A few moments later, he moved, taking the vegetable leaves off his head.
Stretching his legs, he started running.
Xia Ling was shocked, what was he intending to do?
Was he going to come to her house?
God, this man was crazy! Did he get drunk at the bar and was now going to make a ruckus in her house?
She quickly ran out of her room. Standing in the living room, she could hear someone banging on the door.
She had a doorbell but he didn’t ring it, just hammering away on the door.
“Xia Ling, open the door!”
Xia Ling took two steps backward, and she didn’t open the door.
“Xia Ling, I know that you’re inside, I saw you when I was downstairs. If you don’t open the door, I’ll teach you a good lesson later!”

The doorknob was twisting around in the lock. It seemed that the man outside wanted to break into her apartment. Taken aback, Xia Ling quickly looked around her surroundings and took a chair, wanting to block the door with it.
But when she moved over, the door was already open.
