Insanely Pampered Wife: Divine Doctor Fifth Young Miss

Chapter 674 - Escaping from responsibility

“Sima You Yue!”

Sima You Yue stopped when she heard a stranger call her name. Turning around, she didn’t see anyone she recognised.

“You are Sima You Yue?” A small statured male brandished a huge sword as he walked over to Sima You Yue and asked while holding his chin.

“Who are you?” Sima You Yue asked.

She didn’t seem to know anyone crazy like that!

“I am He Feng. People call me the crazy guy.” He Feng replied.

Sima You Yue raised her eyebrows in surprise. This was the rumored crazy guy from the inner sect?

In her mind, someone who liked to battle should be a loud and crazy fellow who was as tall as a horse. Not the person in front of her, who was barely taller than she was and seemed delicate and pretty.

She appraised him for a moment. Aside from his nicknamed carved on the large blade he appeared very normal.

“Are you Sima You Yue?” He Feng asked.

“You have the wrong person.” Sima You Yue lied without batting an eyelid.

She knew what he wanted the moment she saw him. However, she had no interest in battling him.

“The wrong person? I just heard someone call you Sima You Yue. How could I be mistaken?” He Feng scratched his head with puzzlement.

“You heard wrong. Or perhaps someone was calling another person.” Sima You Yue left after speaking.

After a moment, He Feng dashed in front of Sima You Yue and blocked her way, “I know that it’s you.”

“You have the wrong person.” She continued to deny.

“No possible! Unless you prove it.” He Feng said.

“How do I do that?” Sima You Yue raised her eyebrows in question.

“Battle me. If you win, that proves that you aren’t.” He Feng said roguishly.

“I’m a new student, while you’re in the top twenty. Do you think that it’s appropriate for you to pick a fight with me?” Sima You Yue said.

“It is.” He Feng said, “Do you agree or not? If you don’t agree, that means that you are Sima You Yue!”

Sima You Yue was defeated by his shamelessness as she said, “Even if I was Sima You Yue, I wouldn’t fight you.”

“Why not?” He Feng asked.

“Because I have no interest in these kinds of battles.” Sima You Yue said, “Furthermore, I’m injured. You wouldn’t fight an injured party, right?”

“You’re injured? Why can’t I tell?”

“My consciousness.” Sima You Yue said, “You should know that an injury to the consciousness severely impacts battle ability. You’ll definitely be unwilling to fight a one-sided battle, right?”

He Feng lowered his head and gave it a careful thought before nodding, “You’re right. You’re injured now, so I won’t be able to fight you. In this case, I’ll come and look for you again!”

After speaking, he brandished his huge blade again and left.

“You Yue, you’re in for it now.” Fatty Qu looked at Sima You Yue with pity.

“Why?” Sima You Yue continued walking.

“It’s said that people who have been targeted by the crazy guy won’t be let off if they don’t battle him. He’ll keep pestering you until you agree.” Fatty Qu said.

“No problem, he can’t enter the Parting Garden.” Sima You Yue said.

“That’s right. You can just go to the Parting Garden if you can’t stand him anymore. He wouldn’t dare enter.” Fatty Qu said with a smile.

“Let’s go. We’ll go see what Big Brother and the others are doing. We’ll also see how the team is doing.”

They walked to the outside of the house and saw Sima You Qi and the others sitting there deep in discussion the moment they entered the house.

“What are you guys talking about?” She walked over to take a seat and asked while looking at them.

“You’re just in time.” Sima You Qi said, “We happen to be discussing about the team.”

“What’s wrong with the team? Did they encounter some difficulty?”

“No, we didn’t. These are the people in our team, so we don’t have the kind of inside dilemma.” Sima You Qi said.

“Then why do all of you look so solemn?” Sima You Yue didn’t understand.

“We were just discussing whether or not we should accept a mission.” Sima You Ran said.

“A mission?”

“That’s right.” Sima You Le said, “We’ve been cultivating inside the Cultivation Pagoda these past few days, so we’re running out of cultivation points.

“You guys spent it so fast? Sima You Yue asked curiously.

“We’ve been better off too. Because new students who just come in are guaranteed a minimum cultivation points.” Sima You Ming said, “However, we’re not professionals and cannot rely on our products to exchange for cultivation points. That’s why we have to rely on it a bit more.” Sima You Qi explained.

“I was just saying that the past few times I came, you spent most of the time in closed door cultivation.” Sima You Yue said, “Since that’s the case, you really have to find a way to earn more.”

“That’s why we were discussing it.” Sima You Qi said, “Most teams rely on missions, and we want to take a look to see if any suit us.”

“Found any?” Fatty Qu asked.

“There are a few that aren’t bad.” Sima You Qi placed a few pieces of paper in front for everyone to see, “We’ve shortlisted these few, which aren’t that difficult and pay rather well.”

Sima You Yue saw one of them, which wrote about going to the dark forest to retrieve ten fire eggs for a thousand points.

There were ten of them, and it was just one single mission, but they would be able to earn around a hundred cultivation points. It would be enough for them to continue cultivating in the cultivation pagoda for three months.

This mission wasn’t bad.

She took a look at another one which wrote about searching for and killing ten outlaws. Each kill would give them a thousand points. Also, the ten of them were placed in an order, where the very first name listed was worth the most cultivation points.

“This can be considered as a mission from the sect as well?” She couldn’t help but ask.

“Yeah.” Sima You Qi answered, “We’ve already properly checked out these ten people. These ten are beyond evil, they’ve killed, ***** and kidnapped, those kind of things. There are a few Yin cultivators who rely on absorbing the essence of females to increase their strengths. You can say that each and everyone of them are thoroughly evil and nobody would miss them if they died.

Sima You Yue looked at the ranks listed on the back of each one. They weren’t particularly powerful to the point where they couldn’t be taken care of.

“These people don’t seem to be very powerful, why are the cultivation points so high?”

“Because they’re too evil, but have many methods of staying alive, so they’re not easy to kill.” Sima You Ran said, “Furthermore, the mission has been out for too long. There are deadlines on every mission in the sect. If nobody completes them during that time, the value of it will rise.”

“Were there many who tried to accomplish this mission?” Sima You Yue asked.

“Many. But none succeeded. In the beginning, the tenth one on this list was only worth five hundred cultivation points, but it rose to a hundred in two years, and now it’s worth a thousand.

“Nobody succeeded in ten years?!”

“That’s right.” Sima You ran said, “Furthermore, the students who wanted to act would always find out news regarding that person, but once they left in search of him, they would lose his trail.”
