My Youth Began With Him

Chapter 563 - Qin Chu’s Retaliation (3)

They made out for quite a while before Qin Chu finally let Huo Mian go…

Huo Mian, on the other hand, thought back at what they were just doing and applauded their courage. If someone had come in just now, it would have been super embarrassing. Weren’t they supposed to do stuff like that in the privacy of their own home?

“Honey, go back to work, I’ll be heading out now.”

“So soon…?” Huo Mian didn’t want him to go yet.

“You’re at work, I don’t want to be a bother.” Then, Qin Chu got up with a smile on his face.

Huo Mian quietly followed him, her small hand in his big ones.

As for those photos, Qin Chu didn’t feel the need to tell or ask Huo Mian about them, because he completely trusted his wife.

Whoever took those photos was merely trying to break them apart.

He already thought of a few possibilities. First, his mother might have put on a show and hired someone to take those photos for her.

Two, that pervert, Huo Siqian, was taking whatever plans he had into action. Therefore, he took those photos and gave them to his mother in an attempt to stir up conflict in the Qin household.

The last possibility was Su Yu. Qin Chu was clear of how Su Yu felt towards Huo Mian, but he had yet to take action. Laying low didn’t seem like something the Su Family’s young master would do, so there was a possibility that it was him as well.

When they got to the hospital entrance, Su Yu walked out as well…

His eyes lit up upon seeing Huo Mian, but when he saw Qin Chu the next second, they immediately darkened.

“What a coincidence, President Su,” Qin Chu always greeted Su Yu politely and properly. He also knew that there was no way he would lose to Su Yu; he had faith in his and Huo Mian’s ten-year-relationship.

“Yeah, what a coincidence.” Su Yu smiled icily.

This was the first time they ran into each other in private since the Gamble God cruise, and at a hospital, of all places.

Qin Chu smiled as he turned around. “Honey, you don’t have to walk me all the way out, you should go back to work.”

“Okay.” Huo Mian nodded her head obediently.

Qin Chu originally wanted to kiss Huo Mian, right in front of Su Yu.

But he didn’t, because that would be a little too childish.

He didn’t have to announce to the world how much he loved Huo Mian. He knew, and that was good enough.

Then, Qin Chu left the hospital, and so did Su Yu… It seemed like he was about to leave anyway.

“You came all the way to the hospital to monitor Huo Mian? Are you worried, is that why you’re checking up on her?” Su Yu asked with a smile on his face.

“Wrong. If I was worried, I would’ve told her to quit her job and stay at home. That way, she wouldn’t have to come to the hospital every day or work night shifts. So, I suggest that you put away your pointless assumptions,” Qin Chu answered with a smile.

“You seem to be pretty sure of yourself that Huo Mian won’t have a change of heart, aren’t you?”

“That’s a given. Do you think she’s a fickle woman?” Qin Chu answered with a question of his own.

“No, but I’m missing just one opportunity. If you hadn’t come into her life, she would be mine. Of course, I can’t do anything about the fact that you met her first, so, if you leave her one day, she’ll still be mine.”

“I will never leave her, never.”

“Haha, I wouldn’t be so sure. We never know which comes first, tomorrow or an accident. So…I wouldn’t be so confident, what if something were to happen?”

“President Su, you seem to have a lot of time on your hands recently,” Qin Chu looked at Su Yu and said cryptically.

“So? What do you plan on doing? Declare war against me?” Su Yu took out a lollipop from god knows where and put it in his mouth. Then, he looked provocatively at Qin Chu.
