Chapter 1331 - Another Encounter (5)
Ever since Jun Xiqing had led the Wolf Iron Steed Troop to take back her country, she had become a living legend.
Over the past three years, she had ascended the political platform and became the first female ruler. Under her rule, Country Z had become more powerful and prosperous, and she was very well-loved and respected by her citizens.
However, she was still a 23-year-old young lady and an extraordinarily beautiful one at that. That was why she was often the subject of malicious gossip by those unprincipled bureaucrats.
Nevertheless, that malicious gossip occurred only rarely. After all, according to what everyone knew, Jun Xiqing was only engaged to Zhu Qing previously, and that engagement had come to an unremarkable end. Other than that, she was not involved with any other man.
Now that General Yue had shockingly revealed that Jun Xiqing was not a virgin, those bureaucrats were completely thunderstruck.
“President Jun is not a virgin? My goodness, which man bedded her?”
“President Jun looks so elegant and alluring, pure and untouchable. I never expected her to be so… promiscuous on the inside.”
“That man is really lucky. President Jun must have tasted really good.”
…
In the room.
General Yue hurriedly entered. As expected, Jun Xiqing was lying on the large, soft bed.
As he stood by the bed, his eyes gazed down at the unconscious Jun Xiqing and raked across her body.
Having just danced, her delicate cheeks were flushed red, like a fresh rose in bloom. She had long lashes, red lips and jet-black hair. Her beauty was like a perfect work of art.
General Yue rubbed his hands in glee. “President Jun, here I come. Allow me to serve you properly. If I perform well, let me become your First Husband. Hahahaha!”
General Yue eagerly took off his pants and stood there in his underwear.
Just as he was about to climb onto the bed, two loud shrieks erupted from outside the door. It was his men. “Ah! Wolf!”
General Yue was in the throes of excitement and couldn’t wait to just tear off Jun Xiqing’s clothes. Being interrupted by those shouts, he hollered in annoyance. “What the hell are you guys doing out there! Shut up!”
It suddenly went all quiet outside.
Very quiet.
It was so quiet that one could even hear a pin falling on the floor. The atmosphere was spine-chillingly weird.
General Yue sensed that something was not quite right. He heard a crack and the door to the room was opened.
“Who? Who is there?”
General Yue turned and cautiously walked over to the door.
The door was wide open and something small scurried in. It was about the size of a husky and had gray fur all over. That little thing looked at General Yue with a tilted head, before barking.
Woof!
This was a little dog?
General Yue scrutinized that little thing. It looked young and clumsy.
“Get out. Go and play outside or I will beat you!” General Yue drew out the knife by his waist and put on a fierce expression.
The eyes of the little thing dimmed at the sight of that knife, before exuding a greenish glow. Then the little thing opened its jaws wide to reveal two rows of sharp fangs.
General Yue stiffened and even his breathing halted. No, this was not a dog!
A melodious voice drifted over from behind. “Xiao Han, how many times must I tell you. You are not a dog, you are… the little wolf king!”
General Yue turned around in shock. Jun Xiqing was no longer unconscious and she was propping up her head with one slender arm. Her sparkling eyes were fixed on Xiao Han.
“You, you…”
General Yue looked at Jun Xiqing in shock. She had a little wolf king as her pet?
Xiao Han drooped down its head at Jun Xiqing, as if in repentance for being caught out.
It gave a loud howl.
Oh f*ck. Sensing the impending danger, General Yue turned to flee. He knew that he had fallen into a trap. Jun Xiqing had clearly drank that cocktail but she was completely fine.
If he didn’t escape now, there was no way he could leave.
“Xiao Han!” Jun Xiqing called out.
General Yue suddenly saw stars as Xiao Han pounced at him, sinking its sharp claws into his chest and pushing him down onto the carpet.
