Chapter 358 - It's Armor Time!
As he appeared in the Mist Room, Phenex immediately looked around him as he tried to assess the damage by the clash between Fang Yu and Andromalius.
Pieces of black goo were scattered around, evidence of the final attack that Andromalius used. As for Fang Yu, her clothes were ripped at different places, while her slightly pale face was looking directly at him.
“You seem to be not angry.” Fang Yu said as she observed Phenex’s expression. “That guy must be really a prick that even you are not mourning for him.”
“Well I will mourn for him if he died selfishly.” Phenex slowly said as he placed the Star Orb on the ground. The mist around the Star Orb let out a hiss as they were seemingly affected by the heat.
“But he died with the intention of helping Lord Solomon. Mourning for him will be disrespectful. We should be proud of it instead.” Phenex said as he lifted the Star Orb with his bare hands and pointed it to Fang Yu.
“And for that, I will make sure to defeat you soundly!”
“What you said is really weird….” Fang Yu muttered as she stared at Phenex’s Star Orb. “Well whatever, let’s start this now.”
Fang Yu knew that no matter what she said, there is no way out for these 3 Djinns already. Even with Solomon injured, they still stayed loyal to him. Bringing them out of that state is almost impossible now.
“Sorry Genie….” That was all that Fang Yu thought as Andromalius started his attack.
“Since you seem to be strong, I will already start attacking in my strongest state. Fourth Seal, Unlock!”
“Fizz…” The Star Orb let out a sound as it lost its spherical shape. Fang Yu watched in wonder as she saw the Star Orb changing shape as it covered Phenex’s whole body, creating an armor.
The armor extended out of his arms and back, creating a sword for each hand, and 10 spiky tentacles at his back!
Fang Yu could see that the armor, the swords, and the 10 tentacles were all made up from the material of the Star Orb!
“Oh, so your Star Orb is also ‘malleable’…” Fang Yu’s eyes twitched, realizing that it will be harder to dodge Phenex from now on.
After all, Phenex just freaking used the Star Orb as an armor and weapon too!
Fang Yu narrowed her eyes as she decided to call this armor the Star Armor.
“Here it comes.” Fang Yu muttered as Phenex disappeared from her sight.
“Eh?” While Fang Yu was confused by the sudden disappearance, she suddenly felt intense danger coming from her left side.
“Hiss….” Fang Yu let out a groan as a tentacle grazed over the left side of her hips. She gritted her teeth as she jumped back, looking at Phenex who reappeared.
The tentacle that grazed Fang Yu hung in front of Phenex, waving itself from side to side as if it was mocking Fang Yu.
“How did he disappear and appear like that without me noticing?” Fang Yu thought that the Star Armor will only provide Phenex with additional firepower, but she did not expect that it will also improve Phenex’s mobility!

Fang Yu narrowed her eyes as she focused on what happened earlier. From what she saw earlier, she inferred that Phenex’s armor must have allowed him to move the way that a light did.
In all the experiments done with light in the past, people always see one pattern.
And it was that light will always travel the path with the shortest time needed.
No matter where the light passes through, either in vacuum or through objects, light will always travel the fastest path.
This behavior results in the refraction of light.

Phenex must have been using his armor forcefully refract his own path.
By doing multiple refractions quickly, Phenex will seemingly disappear from Fang Yu’s vision, as he chooses the fastest path at each refraction. Combined with his already insane speed, and Phenex was basically invisible to Fang Yu!

The symbols of the ice and fire glowed on the surface of her Duality Godly Divine Beast Core Planet.
These symbols then flew out of her dantian as they mixed together.
“Come out, Perpetual Ice-Fire Wheel!” Fang Yu shouted as she activated a Dual Mark Ability!

Fang Yu’s body was currently filled with the best energy that she had, the Origin Core Energy. This energy was the energy that she used to fuel her Perpetual Ice-Fire Wheel. Coupled with the upgrade on her Essence Cores, and the ability she activated was more monstrous than ever.
The upgrade on her Essence Cores managed to strengthen her ice and fire symbols.
Now, Fang Yu had the real Pure Yang Universe Flame and the Pure Yin Cosmic Ice!
Using them together created an extremely powerful ability!
The wheel appeared tiny at first, but then it started to expand as is greedily swallowed the heat around it.
But Fang Yu made it so that the wheel will just focus on absorbing the heat from Phenex’s Star Orb.
“What the?” Fang Yu heard Phenex’s astonished voice as her Perpetual Ice-Fire Wheel continued to get larger and larger.
Even Fang Yu could not believe on how quickly the wheel enlarged.
“You are an idiot! Are you trying to absorb the energy of a star with that ability of yours? Do you know what will happen if you continue doing this?” Phenex’s voice was tinged with panic as Fang Yu started to slowly back away from her wheel that was now getting harder and harder to control.
“Ugh!” Fang Yu spat out some blood as she realized that the wheel became too strong for her to control!
From the looks of it, the Perpetual Ice-Fire Wheel too much energy from the Star Orb, much more than what it could bear!
“It explodes you donkey!” Phenex lashed out just as the Perpetual Ice-Fire Wheel exploded, engulfing the room in a momentous explosion.
