He could not believe that she could still laugh at what had happened.
Ye Qiao knew that he was displeased, but she was not afraid of him. She still looked at him with a face full of amusement. “Brother Xiao, if you’re not letting Cheng Dafei do it, are you going to take care of me?”
Lu Beixiao did not answer immediately. Instead, he took two drags of his cigarettes before placing it in his mouth again. Boldly, he started moving closer to her. Ye Qiao hurried her back as he drew closer and closer until she finally hit a wall and was left with nowhere else to go.
He placed one arm against the wall, so she was trapped between the wall and his body. It seemed that she was romantically shoved to the wall by an attractive man.
The sky was dark, so the only thing that she could see was the lit cigarette in his mouth. The mixed scent of tobacco and alcohol had become even stronger due to their proximity. He then took a puff of his cigarette and drew his face closer to hers before blowing some smoke in her face.
She could feel her heart thumping uncontrollably, and so was his.
“Do you want to be taken care of by me?” He softly said in a sexy voice. Their faces were only inches apart.
Ye Qiao could literally hear her heartbeat; it was so strong that she could not ignore it. She had not felt that way about Lu Beixiao before, but she knew very well that this feeling was because of him.
“I do,” she held her head up and answered.
