She liked to get things done by herself.
Zhai Yunsheng, who was sitting on the couch, started to frown.
However, he didn’t question Jian Yiling about the matter. Instead, he asked one of his bodyguards to come over to him. He whispered a few words to him and then the bodyguard left.
Not long after, the bodyguard returned. He reported the results of the investigation to Zhai Yunsheng.
Then, Zhai Yunsheng got up. He walked over to Jian Yiling and looked at the little rabbit who wore a white and fluffy coat. He directly recounted the incident to Jian Yiling.
“Your desk-mate Hu Jiaojiao just got hospitalized. The reason for the hospitalization is because she got harassed by a bunch of thugs. However, she isn’t suffering any major injuries.”
Then, Yu Xi turned around and asked Zhai Yunsheng, “Master Sheng, what do you want me to do?”
“Go home and sleep. We will talk about this tomorrow morning.”
It was already nine o’clock. They could discuss matters tomorrow morning. For now, sleep was more important.
Then, Zhai Yunsheng turned around to speak to Jian Yiling again. His tone was serious as he said, “Don’t be a rabbit and have red eyes. Go and sleep. Deal with everything else in the morning. Leave this to me.”
Although Zhai Yunsheng’s appearance made him seem like a hedonistic person, the words he said were still quite respectable. The words made it sound like someone could place their trust in him.
“Okay.”
Jian Yiling agreed to him. She knew that she should go to sleep. If she didn’t, it would negatively impact her performance in the operation tomorrow.
However, Jian Yiling was not sure whether or not the matter today could be dealt with by tomorrow morning. She didn’t know whether or not it would impact the surgery tomorrow afternoon.
