I Might Be A Fake Cultivator

Chapter 963

You Mu’s successful ranking up was a grand occasion for the entire cultivation world.

Now that an individual had broken through to the Return to Void Stage, there would undoubtedly be a second, and then a third…

Being the second, third, and so on to rank up was much easier than being the first to rank up.

The cultivator group chat was also brimming with excitement. The notifications frequently topped 999+.

An Lin silently tipped one thousand spirit stones again. This was his congratulatory present for Daoist You Mu breaking through to the Return to Void Stage. The cultivator group chat instantly erupted at the sight of his tip, and the cultivators were all in awe at An Lin’s generosity.

The title “Tycoon An” left a deep and lasting impression in their minds.

An Lin pulled his attention away from the group chat and cast his gaze back toward the vast stretch of grassland before him.

In the tranquil night, the flow of vital energy gradually quickened. Vital energy flowed over from all the surrounding areas, causing the concentration of vital energy on this patch of grassland to become especially dense.

“Change is finally coming.” Battle Goddess Bi Qiong’s sword rang with a crisp tone, and her entire body was like a sheathed sword. Her might was contained, yet she still appeared extremely intimidating.

The area of irregular vital energy fluctuation grew larger and larger. After a short while, the area of irregular vital energy fluctuation exceeded the range of An Lin’s divine sense. An Lin knew that this kind of irregular fluctuation would most likely envelop the entirety of Earth. This was the leveling up of a realm.

Two hours later…

The sound of glass shattering sounded in the void.

An Lin looked toward the source of the sound and saw a dim-yellow glow penetrating through a fissure in the void. This was a power that didn’t belong to this world.

White Spirit Snake squinted her clear, bright eyes. There was a look of attachment on her face. “This is my tribe’s Divine Light. This place is indeed connected to my tribe’s ancient land!”

Battle Goddess Bi Qiong felt slightly nervous, and she tried her best to suppress the cultivation base within her body.

The Dao of Heaven and Earth started booming, and a colorful circular region started expanding outward on the earth. Eventually, it transformed into a multi-colored pillar of light and shot into the sky. Then, it exploded like a firework and released countless streaks of light. These streaks were like the branches of a tree, and they shot toward various locations on Earth.

Earth’s atmosphere surged, and the density of vital energy started to change.

Then, drastic changes also took place in the mountains and lakes as well as in the northern and southern poles.

Hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic explosions… All kinds of natural disasters befell Earth.

Rain of vital energy, the bestowal of fortune from the Divine Lights, the birth of rare and exotic treasures… At the same time, all kinds of Heavenly Bestowals also showered down.

This was a moment of both calamity and fortune!

However, An Lin didn’t have the time to worry about these matters. Right now, he could feel a terrifying power emanating from the core of the spell formation’s vital juncture. This power caused him to feel an irrepressible fear.

The fissure in the void also grew larger and larger. It transformed from a small, ten feet long fissure into a gigantic fissure that stretched thousands of feet in length and dozens of feet in width.

It was like a gigantic scar in the night sky, and a dim-yellow glow continually seeped out from within it. This glow contained a rotten aura and the power that it released also became more and more terrifying.

“Little Bai… are you sure that this connects to the ancient land of the Snake Spirit Clan? This aura… is most likely from one of your ancestors. They’re friends, not foes, right?” An Lin gulped nervously.

White Spirit Snake also wore a dark expression. “This place is indeed connected to my tribe’s ancient land. However, I also can’t say for sure what’s going to come out. For the sake of safety, it’s best if we prevent it from coming out.”

She took out a golden crystal and embedded it into a circular artifact.

An Lin’s eyes widened in surprise. That crystal was a golden Realm Essence Crystal! A single golden Realm Essence Crystal was worth one million spirit stones!

A look of disappointment spread across White Spirit Snake’s face as she gazed at the widening spatial fracture. “If the opportunity presents itself, I really want to visit the ancient land. Now, however, it’s more important that we patch up the flaw in the void fist.”

As she said this, she formed a seal with her hands. The circular artifact released a golden light and whizzed toward the fissure in the void.

As the circular artifact reached the flaw, a gigantic spell formation unfurled and started to absorb the tremendous power of heaven and earth. This power was pushed toward the fissure, and it caused the fissure to continually decrease in size.

“Golden Realm Essence Crystals can even be used like this?” An Lin was astonished.

He had initially thought that the golden Realm Essence Crystals could only be ingested or used to create Small Worlds. He had never imagined that they could also be used to activate magic treasures and absorb the power of heaven and earth.

The patching-up process was going very smoothly.

The terrifying fissure was suppressed by the power of the circular artifact, and it continually shrunk in size. Eventually, it shrunk to a mere ten feet in length.

“It looks like this vital juncture is fairly easy to mend…” An Lin remarked.

He had initially thought that they would still need to fight against some powerful being or come face to face with some great difficulty. To his surprise, however, he was about to experience this entire process as a mere bystander.

“When mending realm flaws, the closer one is to success, the more difficult the process of mending becomes. Master Bai isn’t feeling relaxed at all.”

Battle Goddess Bi Qiong frowned as she explained this to An Lin.

As she spoke, White Spirit Snake’s body started trembling violently.

“What’s wrong?” An Lin was extremely alarmed upon seeing this.

White Spirit Snake gritted her teeth and drew on all her power to control the circular artifact, which was resting within the fissure. In fact, even her true form had started to appear. Her legs had gradually transformed into a slender white snake tail.

Within the void, the circular artifact also trembled violently. It was as though it was being manipulated by some power.

Crack…

The dim-yellow fissure suddenly started to expand slowly again.

This time, their expressions all became grave.

A pair of inky-black hands suddenly appeared on the edges of the fissure and started tearing outward.

“This is such a splendid place. What, am I not welcome here?” Like a bone-chilling breeze, a husky voice traveled out from the fissure. There was even a hint of displeasure in the voice.

A head stuck out from the fissure. The being’s hair was curly and red, and its body was covered in jet-black snake scales. A dangerous glint flashed in its emerald eyes, and its tongue kept spitting out and making hissing noises.

What answered it was an immensely powerful Mountain Quaking Fist.

Boom!

The snake monster’s head was blasted back, and it almost lost its grip on the spatial fissure.

“Who dares to attack me?!” the snake monster hissed in rage.

“Your papa!” An Lin howled and threw another Mountain Quaking Fist toward the snake monster’s head.

Boom!

Terrifying bursts of energy surged through the void.

The snake monster let out a high-pitched hiss, and a red-colored sound wave hammered into An Lin’s chest, throwing him back thousands of meters.

An Lin was deeply astonished. This snake monster was extremely powerful, and it had at least reached the Return to Void Intermediate Stage already. Perhaps it was ranked even higher. Because it was still struggling against the circular artifact, the snake monster didn’t utilize much of its strength when facing off against him. Even so, a simple hiss was able to send him reeling backward.

“My underlings, the door to a new world is opening up for you!” the snake monster snarled angrily. “Charge!” The biceps on its arms bulged, and it tugged at the spatial fissure aggressively.

The spatial fissure instantly grew numerous times larger.

Countless snake monsters squirmed out from the fissure and started hissing excitedly.

Some of the snake monsters had wings on their backs, and some of them flew on gusts of clouds and mists. There were also some that dashed onto the ground and became streaks of black as they slithered along quickly. The sheer number of snake monsters was astonishing.

“Fellow cultivator White Spirit Snake, what’s with these snake monsters?” Xuanyuan Cheng asked in alarm.

White Spirit Snake’s pretty face had already become pale with exertion. “I don’t know,” she answered through gritted teeth. “They have the auras of the Snake Spirit Clan, yet they’re immensely violent and depraved. Perhaps they’re snake monsters that have been mutated due to the deterioration of that continent.”

“So they’re enemies then?” Xuanyuan Cheng drew his sword as he asked this.

White Spirit Snake: “Correct!”
