My Youth Began With Him

Chapter 1971 - I’m Back for Revenge (2)

“I really can’t, I have so much work to do,” Qin Ning laughed.

“Grandpa, are you bullying Auntie by giving her a lot of work?” Little Bean looked at her grandpa and asked cutely.

“Come on, I treat your auntie like my dad. She is at the top of the hierarchy. Other than you two little ones, she is on top. You think I would dare to bully her?” Qin Chu’s uncle was speechless.

“But after all, aside from work, marrying a good man is important as well. So Auntie, that should be your top priority,” Little Bean instructed in all seriousness.

“Fine, you two little tricksters. I have had enough of your talking — my ears are hurting. Please leave quietly. It’s hard for super talkative girls to find a boyfriend. Besides, you two are supposed to be cool Scorpios, don’t act like Virgos.”

Qin Ning knelt down to kiss her two little nieces with a smile.

After reluctantly saying goodbye to Qin Ning and her dad, the two little ones hopped into the car first.

“Uncle, please take care of yourself. Don’t be too tired and don’t try to handle everything at the company by yourself, just ask Ning to do everything,” said Qin Chu.

“I know. Your dad says that a lot, too. At my age, maybe it is time for me to back off.” Qin Chu’s uncle smiled.

“Sis-in-Law, in the future, please bring the twins over often. I’ll really miss them,” said Qin Ning, who was about to cry.

After several days together with the twins, she found that she really liked the little ones.

Now that they were going to leave, she felt something shake within her. This feeling was terrible.

“Yes, I will. Ning, you should visit us when you have time.”

“Yes, of course. Maybe someday when I feel up to it, I’ll just get a ticket and fly over. Haha,” said Qin Ning while trying to hold off her tears.

After Qin Chu and Huo Mian hopped on the Bentley and left, Qin Ning couldn’t help but shed tears.

“How old are you? Why you are still crying like a little baby.” Qin Ning’s dad turned around to comfort his daughter.

“I really don’t want my nieces to leave,” said Qin Ning with a smile but also tears.

That night, the family of four returned to Hawaii to reunite with their grandparents.

The next morning, they took the plane home, transferring at Jing City.

The long-distance flight was really tiring. The twins were not as excited as they were in the beginning.

They spent most of their time sleeping, aside from when they were eating or using the bathroom.

Qin Chu was taking care of Huo Mian and the twins by himself. He was worried that they might catch a cold when sleeping under air conditioning so he didn’t sleep much himself.

Finally, after a long flight, their plane landed in C City.

Huo Mian yawned and stretched herself a little. “Ah, we’re finally home.”

“President Huo, how do you feel?” Qin Chu turned around and looked at her.

“It feels so nice to be home. Nowhere compares to home. East, West, Home is the best, even if it’s just a dog pen” said Huo Mian with a smile.

“Honey, you are being too humble. If your house, South Hill Manor, is a dog pen, what’s everyone else living in? Are you saying their houses are worse than a dog pen?” Qin Chu was teasing her.

“Good point, Honey. What I meant is just there is no place like home. To be honest, now that I think about it, I actually miss our home at Imperial Park. That was our first place,” said Huo Mian with a sweet smile.

“That’s easy. We can just buy it back again and go spend some time there once in a while,” suggested Qin Chu.

“Forget about it. Now it’s no longer just us. We have two little troublemakers.” Whenever Huo Mian thought about the twins, she felt that she had more responsibilities.

“So… How did President Huo like this trip? Any feelings or thoughts?” asked Qin Chu while massaging Huo Mian’s shoulder.

“I had a great time. But there’s just one little regret,” said Huo Mian after thinking with her lips pursed.

“Really? Do you have regret? What is it?” Qin Chu was a bit surprised.
