From that, he knew that Ling Feiyu had already found out about his real identity.
Ling Feiyu looked at Jiang Feng who had turned into a little snake and said something to her, she frowned and replied, “I don’t understand what you are saying!”
Jiang Feng gave Ling Feiyu a look, then took out and consumed the Polymorph Pill. He had something he wanted to ask Ling Feiyu, so he needed to communicate with her.
“I said, how did you know that I’m the Shifters’ Inheritor?” Jiang Feng asked Ling Feiyu after he polymorphed into human form.
“Simple. Though you had dyed your hair black, there were still a few strands of silver hair. Though you were wearing a mask, I could still see your red eyes when the light shines a certain way. And your attack is very high, only an inheritor has such power. Other than the Shifters’ Inheritor, I don’t know anyone that would fit all three criteria,” Ling Feiyu said. “However, I didn’t know that the Shifters’ Inheritor would also be a player, am I right? Jiang Feng?”
“I hope that you won’t leak this out and help me hide my identity,” Jiang Feng said coldly.
When he entered Wuzhuang Taoist Temple, Qiu Si did not check Jiang Feng’s stats so he did not know that he was really Jiang Feng. Even if he knew, all Ling Feiyu needed to say was that he had been eaten by the Ginseng Fruit Tree. Then, Jiang Feng and the Shifters’ Inheritor would not be linked anymore.
As for Xiao Batian, Ba Tianxiao, and Luo Wushuang, their memories had been hidden by the Saintly Artifact, the Earth Book in Wuzhuang Taoist Temple. Even if they were revived, they would not know what had happened in the temple.
That meant that only Ling Feiyu knew his true identity. As long as Ling Feiyu did not say anything about it, no one would know who he was.
“I want to go take a look at the Ancient City of the Shifter Emperor. If you agree, I will choose to forget what happened earlier.” Ling Feiyu then continued to say, “I’m not trying to make a deal with you. I’m simply curious about the Ancient City. You can refuse, and I will still forget what happened before this!”
“Alright!” If she wanted to simply take a look at the Ancient City, he did not think that it would be that big of a deal. He opened the management panel for the Ancient City and created a Town Portal Scroll to the Ancient City of the Shifter Emperor, and gave it to her. “Since you’re not a Shifter, nor a resident of the Ancient City, you would not be able to use the Town Portal skill to go there. You can use this scroll to teleport over.”
“Alright,” Ling Feiyu accepted the scroll, then sent him a Friend Request. She then used the Town Portal Scroll and made her way to the Ancient City.
Jiang Feng looked at the Friend Request in front of him hesitantly but accepted it in the end.
Since she knew of his true identity, perhaps he could find a use for her in the future.
“Time to go back and finish the quest!”
Although he did not destroy the Ginseng Fruit Tree, he did manage to get some Ginseng Fruits and that would be sufficient to complete Uncle Hua’s quest. As for the other herbs, all he needed was to have Uncle Fu buy them through the Imperial Dragon Auction House.
With that, he used the Town Portal Skill and headed toward the Ancient City of the Shifter Emperor.
