Chapter 406 - Visiting Ji Ziming’s House!
The two had a rather enjoyable lunch, and when Pei Ge saw her mother preparing to take a nap, she tiptoed out of the ward.
Carefully closing the door, she went to inquire about her mother’s health report to the concerned nurse.
“Your mother’s health report? You’ll have to wait till tomorrow for it,” informed the nurse surnamed Wang.
“Oh, okay.” With a nod, she thanked the nurse. She was about to inquire about something else when her phone rang.
Fishing it out from her pocket, she gave up on inquiring further once she saw the displayed caller ID on the screen. She blinked her eyes blankly.
“He he! ‘Annoying Fellow’? Miss Pei, your naming sense is pretty unique. Could that be your boyfriend?” Nurse Wang, who happened to be beside Pei Ge, laughingly teased her.

When the security exited the room, his expression was much more polite than before.
“Miss Pei, you can go in now. Mr. Ji is waiting for you.”
She did not take offense at the security’s change in attitude and merely smiled politely at him before walking in.

The sweet-smelling, lush flora along the way to Building A uplifted her mood.
Entering the given passcode by the man, she opened the glass doors to the building.
While the man’s residence was deemed to be a penthouse, Building A was unlike the other condo buildings; it was not a skyscraper and was, instead, just a four-story building.
Inside, she realized that the elevator was unavailable. She could also not find the stairs leading to the floors above.
Just as she was about to panic, the elevator doors parted open with a ding !
