“CEO Gu really has a beautiful family, I’m sure many people are envious,” Nalan Jing agreed and leaned back in his chair. He added, ” I heard CEO Gu bought a precious love stone some time ago. Might I have the honor of looking at it?”
“I’m afraid Mr. Nalan’s timing is rather unfortunate, as I already turned it into a ring,” Gu Juexi replied. There was no expression on his face as he stared at Nalan Jing.
Nalan Jing smiled and nodded, signaling that he did not mind.
Gu Juexi kept twirling his phone in his hand. He knew that Nalan Jing was testing him, just as he was testing Nalan Jing. Both of them were completely aware of it.
If Nalan Jing wanted to seek revenge for Wen Lan, he might want to kill them so he would definitely be an enemy.
However, if Nalan Jing came to see him for Ye Di’s issue, then they might be able to work out a deal.

It might be a key related to what had happened that year, including the truth behind her aunt’s death.
