Chapter 1302 - You’re the Boss
Ye Yuwei arranged everything nicely for Nalan Chunbo when they returned to the apartment. She then knocked on the door before entering his room. “Brother, I’ve stocked the fridge with ingredients. The fruits are on the table, and there’s mineral water on the kitchen counter,” Ye Yuwei explained everything gently.
Nalan Chunbo made a soft reply but did not get up from the bed.
Ye Yuwei was still standing at the door. “If you really do like her, it’s still possible between the two of you if you go and meet her now.”
“Weiwei,” Nalan Chunbo said suddenly. He still did not get up from the bed though. “I’m very happy that you told me the truth, but how can I go and look for her when everything is still in the dark?”
He did not even have a reason to apologize to her.
How could he go and look for her?
Ye Yuwei opened her mouth to say something more but was pulled back by Gu Juexi. She turned and saw that Gu Juexi was gesturing for her to leave.
Ye Yuwei turned back to look into the room again after sighing deeply. “Father will go and meet Nalan Jing this afternoon. He might be your father.”
A heavy silence lingered in the room.
Ye Yuwei choked on her tea. ‘He had only learnt the basics, and he had not made it for more than ten years now, but he could still do it so well.
‘Yes, you’re indeed the boss. Who are you trying to irritate?’
