I Might Be A Fake Cultivator

Chapter 1084

Within the Phoenix Small World.

An Lin found Bai Ling sitting in a mansion on the summit of a mountain, drinking tea as she made calculations while looking at a series of projected statistics and equations.

“You’re sure living the good life here, Pavilion Lord Bai.” An Lin arrived on his brick before greeting Bai Ling with a smile.

Bai Ling shot a glance at An Lin and took another sip of tea before speaking in a cold voice that contained a hint of laziness, “I’m working. Do you need anything?”

Only now did An Lin discover that countless minuscule particles of light were flashing through Bai Ling’s eyes, each of which contained a vast amount of information and statistics.

Bai Ling was like the most powerful supercomputer in this world, so there was no need for any tools when she made her calculations.

As for experiments, she could just simulate them in her mind, which meant that she was a walking experimental research laboratory that could work wherever she went.

“Of course I need something. I wouldn’t come and disrupt you for nothing,” An Lin replied with a smile.

“What is it?” Bai Ling retracted her gaze from the projected figures before turning to An Lin with curiosity in her eyes.

An Lin scratched his head. “Er, I want your help in repairing a ship.”

Bai Ling: “… Go find a ship repairman then! Don’t come bothering me!”

She was very angry. What was she supposed to be? Some sort of manual laborer?

“The problem is, this is no ordinary ship. It’s a battleship! Let me show you.” An Lin produced a blue ball of light, which floated in the air.

Bai Ling initially wore a disgruntled expression, but her pupils contracted abruptly at the sight of the ball of light. “What an advanced spatial technique! It’s absolutely flawless, like a perfect work of art!”

An Lin gave her a thumbs-up. “You really do know your stuff!”

This was the work of the Heavenly Sea God, so of course it was absolutely flawless.

Bai Ling’s interest was piqued. “How big is your battleship? I’ll make some space for it first.”

An Lin paused momentarily before replying, “It’s over fifty kilometers in length, about fifteen kilometers in width, and over twenty kilometers in height…”

Bai Ling’s lips twitched. “That’s a little absurd… If you release it here, it’s going to crush my Small World. Where did you get such a huge ship?”

“I picked it up from a seabed tomb,” An Lin replied with a nonchalant expression.

Bai Ling rolled her eyes. “Quit pretending! Your eyes have betrayed your smugness!”

An Lin was a little embarrassed.

At this moment, Bai Ling had already extended a hand to hold the blue ball of light before spreading open her other hand, upon which a black ball and a white ball appeared.

Boom!

An explosive boom erupted in the sky, causing the earth to tremble.

Countless plants and spirit beasts directly in front of the mountain were shifted to the side, along with some rivers and smaller mountains. It was as if a pair of gargantuan, invisible hands were parting the world.

Before long, a vast area had been cleared out in the Phoenix Small World.

An Lin clicked his tongue in wonder upon seeing this. “I really want to try that as well! It must be a really special feeling to control an entire world and manipulate it according to your will.”

A faint smile appeared on Bai Ling’s face. “Do you want to have a go? I can transfer my power over this world to you…”

An Lin was elated to hear this. “Really?”

Bai Ling nodded. “Of course. However, you have to progress to the Return to Void Final Stage first. You won’t be able to accept the power over this world from me if you haven’t attained the power of the divine dao.”

An Lin: “… God knows when that will happen!”

“Perhaps it will be difficult to envision that day for other people.” Bai Ling stared into An Lin’s eyes with a gentle yet resolute expression. “But I believe you won’t take too long to get there.”

An Lin was feeling quite flattered. It looked like Big Sister Bai thought quite highly of him…

Bai Ling used a spell technique to activate the blue spatial ball of light before tossing it toward the cavernous space that had been opened up.

All of a sudden, boundless lightning enshrouded heaven and earth.

Boom!

The earth tremored violently as gale-force winds swept forth for over fifty kilometers.

A gargantuan object with no end in sight suddenly appeared, obscuring the entire sky.

The eerie, pitch-black cannons, the dark green alloy hull, the suffocating might that seemed to be coming from an ancient, giant beast, all of these accentuated how extraordinary this battleship was.

“So… it really is as big as you said…”

Bai Ling stared at the Starfire Battleship and fell into a slight daze.

“Wait, why does this battleship seem a little familiar?” Bai Ling furrowed her brows.

“It’s the Starfire Battleship of the Spirit Fish Clan,” An Lin explained.

Bai Ling took a deep breath before turning to stare intently at An Lin. “The Starfire Battleship… This is a top-tier battleship that had combined the power of the divine dao as well as the most cutting-edge technology… You managed to secure a strategic weapon like this?”

“It is now the strategic weapon of our Four Nine Immortal Sect.” A confident smile appeared on An Lin’s face.

Bai Ling couldn’t help but steal a few more glances at An Lin.

The Starfire Battleship was arguably even more valuable than a divine tool!

An Lin actually wasn’t very powerful at the moment, but he still received a massive opportunity like this…

Perhaps, I really have put my faith in the right person.

An involuntary smile appeared on Bai Ling’s face, like snow and ice melting to give way to the warmth and vitality of spring.

“You certainly came to the right person…” Countless specks of light flashed past Bai Ling’s eyes, and the air above surged to caress the massive battleship. “The hull has been severely damaged, the propulsion control room has been destroyed, and the divine dao crystal has also been destroyed…”

“It would be extremely difficult to repair such a significant damaged ship. You probably won’t be able to find a more suitable repairman for the job than me! Furthermore, I can use the power of this Small World to assist me in the repair process, which will drastically speed things up,” Bai Ling added with a confident expression.

She closed her eyes as she spoke in order to carry out some calculations.

An Lin stood by patiently.

Bai Ling soon opened her eyes as a smile appeared on her face. “The total repair cost is going to be around a hundred million spirit stones. This is a list of the things that I will need.”

Boom!

A hundred million spirit stones?!

This was an astronomical repair cost, and it struck An Lin like a bolt of lightning, making his head ring incessantly.

An Lin was a little numb as he took the list from Bai Ling before falling into silence.

“Our sect only appears to have about fifty million spirit stones in liquid assets… What are we going to do about the rest?” he asked with difficulty.

Bai Ling waved a dismissive hand. “I don’t care! The sect leader has to worry about things like money. I have no obligation to repair this thing!”

An Lin’s head throbbed upon hearing this.

Should he give up?

No… This Starfire Battleship was even more valuable than a divine tool. He definitely couldn’t give up on it.

An Lin took a deep breath. “Alright! Leave it to me!”

A joyful smile appeared on Bai Ling’s face. These were the responsibilities a sect leader should shoulder. Only through resolving problems and overcoming hardships like this could he continue to grow.

“Come with me, Bai Ling. Let’s gather our friends and discuss how we’re going to resolve this big issue!” An Lin’s eyes were burning with his fighting spirit. “There is always more strength in numbers, hehe…”

Bai Ling: “…”

Her previous joy instantly vanished!
