My Youth Began With Him

Chapter 2999 - The Killer Maniac Lu Yan 19

Like Lu Yan, Qiao Fei seldom came back to China and thus wasn’t familiar with the city.

When he heard Lu Yan talk about killing people, Qiao Fei thought she was just kidding.

He thought she would visit Qin Chu first after she came back.

But he was mistaken…

In a narrow and dark alley, Lu Yan put her foot on a man’s neck.

“Tell me Huo Siqian’s plan.”

“I really don’t… know. I just ran errands for him. How can I know his plans?”

“You don’t know? Very good…”

The moment she said it, she lifted her knife and slashed down.

Since she couldn’t pass the airport security check with heavy weapons, Lu Yan had figured out a way to bring a sharp knife; equipped with devices to disturb signals, the knife had tricked the airport security.

This knife had been with Lu Yan for many years. Despite its ordinary look, it was made with special materials and could cut through rocks like they were paper.

Professor Lu gave it to her on her 12th birthday for self-protection; he had made the knife himself.

He had added some special elements in the knife; some of them were aerospace materials used in making rockets. No other knives or bullets could leave a scratch on it.

In the past years, Lu Yan formed a special bond with it; whenever it was unsheathed, it would kill without a miss.

Lu Yan was in sync with it and used it as if it was a part of her body.

With a chilly flash, the guy’s head slumped as he stopped breathing.

Lu Yan looked at her watch and read the information that her men had found out for her.

These guys were Huo Siqian’s lackeys, and she knew the locations of their homes like the back of her hand.

In less than three hours after Lu Yan arrived at C City, she had killed seven people. She was a professional killer after all.

“I’ll ask you one last time; do you know it or not?”

“I really don’t know. Please don’t kill me…” The man trembled in fear.

Lu Yan glanced at him coldly and cut his throat.

The man didn’t even get the chance to let out a scream.

“Yan, that’s enough for today.” Qiao Fei tried to stop her.

“What? You can’t bear to see more?” Lu Yan looked at Qiao Fei.

“No. I don’t want you to get tired.”

“Ha… I’m surprised by your reply. I thought you’d tell me that it’s cruel to kill so many people.” Lu Yan chuckled.

“Not at all. You’re the queen of the mercenary world, and many killers shiver in fear when they hear of your name. I wouldn’t be surprised if you killed a company of soldiers, not to mention these few people. After all, you are a soldier who has killed her way out of a pile of corpses.”

“A soldier who has killed her way out of a pile of corpses? Hmm, I like this description.”

Putting away her knife, she followed Qiao Fei’s advice and stopped killing.

“Shall we find a place to have some rest?” Qiao Fei was worried as Lu Yan hadn’t taken any time to rest after the airplane landed.

“We’ll do it later. Now I’ll take you to one place.”

They got into the car and left.

– In an ordinary-looking bar in the East District of C City –

Lu Yan led Qiao Fei into the bar and found it was dim and smoky inside.

Lu Yan glanced around and didn’t see the person she wanted; then she turned around to walk to the staircase leading to the second floor.

She was stopped before the stairs.

“Hey, what are you doing here?”

“I’m looking for someone,” Lu Yan said.

“Looking for someone? Whoever you’re looking for isn’t upstairs.” The man yelling at her was a brawny man of 6.3 feet.

“I haven’t begun looking yet; how do you know the person I’m looking for isn’t upstairs?”

“No sh-t. The second floor is our boss’s private office and no outsiders can enter. Go away, little girl.”

Looking at the young girl wearing a short-sleeved Minnie T-shirt and denim shorts, the man thought she was just a troublemaker.

“I’m here to see your boss,” Lu Yan insisted.
