The Brilliant Fighting Master

Chapter 460 -The Gaos’ Next Lord

When Jiang Chen showed up once again before the crowd, the aggressive energy was gone.

He was in a gray robe. There was nothing special about him except for his impressive appearance and deep expression.

Thinking of the strength that he had shown, the crowd didn’t dare to even breathe too hard.

They looked at Jiang Chen the way one looked up at the stars.

“He should be strong enough to be ranked in the top ten, right?”

They suddenly started a heated discussion.

When they had come here, they had only known Jiang Chen had killed Liu Shayang, ranked in the nineties. After only one month in the small world, he had improved so much to be worthy of a top ten spot, which was unprecedented.

“My name is Lang Ping, ranked seventh on List A of the Dragon Rise List. I’ll give you one more chance to answer my question,” said the man.

Jiang Chen didn’t even bother to look at him. He repeated his answer, “Get away!”

“How dare you! It’s all right if you don’t want a deal, but why are you so arrogant?”

“Don’t you know there’s always someone stronger out there?”

Those in Lang Ping’s team spoke one by one.

“Do I know you?” Lang Ping didn’t understand where Jiang Chen’s hostility had come from.

“Wushuang.”

Jiang Chen glanced at him and let Ying Wushuang do the talking.

“Lang Ping, the third young master of the Langs, always takes advantage of his background to fool around with short-term female disciples from all fields of the Sacred Institute,” Ying Wushuang said in a serious tone.

It turned out she had informed Jiang Chen of this through holy awareness as soon as Lang Ping had appeared.

“Just because of that?” Lang Ping was struck dumb. This meant nothing to him.

Suddenly, one of his men told him something through holy awareness, as well.

Lang Ping looked interested. Gazing at Jiang Chen, he said, “I’ve almost forgotten that you’re from another field, too, and came to the Dragon Field through short-term study! Huh, those women from the countryside, like your hometown, are too frivolous. They hit on me first. They wish they could stay in the Dragon Field. Can you blame me for that?”

“Frivolous? Do you think you’re nobler?” asked Jiang Chen.

“Isn’t it obvious?” Lang Ping extended his hands. Smiling proudly, he said, “As soon as one is born, his fate is already written. People outside of the Dragon Field are all of lower grades!”

“Even you, your glory is only temporary. Don’t even think that you can reach further!” Lang Ping said with disdain, pointing at Jiang Chen.

“Do you think the Langs are better than anyone else?” asked Jiang Chen.

“Of course. It’s a piece of cake to deal with you,” Lang Ping said proudly.

Then Gao Huoling came forward. She said, “Really? If the Langs are so great, the Gaos will stop working with you right away.”

This was something Lang Ping hadn’t expected. He was dumbfounded. It seemed he hadn’t noticed Gao Huoling’s presence until then.

“But why, Miss Gao?”

The Langs were as weak as ants before the Gaos, one of the aristocratic families of inheritance.

“Because Jiang Chen is the next lord of the Gaos,” Gao Huoling said in a low voice.
