The Mightiest Little Peasant

Chapter 53

“Kid, if I were you I’d get lost as far as I can! Careful that I break your legs!” The bunch of hooligans laughed ominously as they closed in on Tang Hao.

“What are you doing?” Shi Yan’er screamed and stood in front of Tang Hao. “Run away quick, Brother Hao, I don’t want to drag you into this!”

“Silly girl!’ Tang Hao laughed gently and patted her head. “Don’t worry, it’ll be fine.”

After that, he stepped in front of her.

“Oh ho! You’ve got balls, kid! Then don’t blame us if anything happens to you!” The leader of the hooligans smirked,

Tang Hao did not look at him but at the two police officers standing aside. “Aren’t you supposed to do something?”

The two police officers were surprised when they heard that. They burst out laughing and looked mockingly at Tang Hao.

“This kid is so innocent!” One of the police officers mumbled.

Then, the two police officers turned around and looked away.

“Haha! Now you know the extent of Hu Dahai’s influence! The superintendent of the town police station is my brother-in-law. Over here, I am the king. Cross me and prepare to die!” Hu Dahai laughed arrogantly.

“Beat him up! Show no mercy!” He pointed a finger at Tang Hao and roared in anger.

The bunch of hooligans laughed sinisterly as they stepped toward Tang Hao.

The villagers all cried out in surprise. They felt sorry for Tang Hao. Lil Hao was only a boy of seventeen turning eighteen and was no match for this group of hooligans.

Some of them could not bear to watch idly. They rolled up their sleeves and picked up loose bricks, preparing to come to Tang Hao’s aid.

The boy standing in the middle of the scene was still as calm and composed as ever as if none of this is happening right in front of him.

“If you don’t plan to get involved in this, then don’t blame me when things get serious!” Tang Hao mumbled to himself.

He furrowed his brows and his gaze became cold.

His entire aura transformed. He took a big step forward toward the hooligans, then reached out to grab a fist that was aimed at him. He tightened his grip, and the leader of the hooligans immediately turned pale and screamed in agony.

With a turn of his wrist, the hooligan’s arm was twisted like a breadstick. He then kicked out and the hooligan flew backward, knocking down two others behind him.

This move had stunned all the people around him.

The villagers were all slack-jawed. They did not know how to react to this.

The hooligans also went wide-eyed. They could not believe what they saw.

This scrawny-looking kid had sent their leader flying in one move. They knew how strong their leader was. He should be stronger than this kid.

Hu Dahai was also shocked. He could only look at this scene with incredulity.

Then, he came to his senses. “Useless! All of you are useless! What are you standing there for? Beat him up!” He roared as he jumped up and down on the spot.

As though being woken from a dream, the hooligans became rowdy again and rushed toward Tang Hao.

Tang Hao flicked his wrists and continued walking forward as if taking a walk in the park. His body looked as though it was shimmering when he dodged the attacks. Meanwhile, every one of his punches, kicks, and elbows sent someone flying.

‘Aaaaah!” The hooligans fell one by one while screaming in agony.

The scene in front of them was less like a fight and more like a staged performance. The villagers’ mouths opened wider and wider. Meanwhile, Hu Dahai was stupefied. His mind was blank when he saw this happening in front of him.

The two police officers were also slack-jawed. They did not notice that they dropped the cigarettes from their mouths.

“F*ck me, who the hell is this kid?” One of the police officers mumbled to himself.

“How could this be…” Shi Yan’er was also wide-eyed. She could not believe what she was seeing.

Was this the Brother Hao that she had known since young? Since when was he so powerful?

The last person fell.

Tang Hao remained on the spot. He flicked his wrists and glared coldly at Hu Dahai.

Hu Dahai’s entire body shuddered when he was glared at. His knees went weak and he fell sitting down on the ground.

His face was a ghastly pallor as he scooted backward. “What… What are you doing? I… I tell you, don’t be rash. My brother-in-law is the superintendent of the town police station. You’re dead meat if you even lay a finger on me.”

“A superintendent of a small town? What’s the big deal!” Tang Hao smiled coldly as he continued stepping forward.

Hu Dahai shuddered even more violently. He was cursing in his heart, ‘Dammit, where did this kid come from, and why is he so powerful?’

Suddenly, he thought of something and roared with laughter. He ran toward the two police officers and said, “Why are you two just standing there? Didn’t you see him beat all these people up! Arrest him and lock him up for two or three weeks.”

The two police officers came to their senses. They walked over and told Tang Hao fiercely, “You’ve committed a crime, kid. Come with us!”

After that, one of the police officers took out a pair of handcuffs and pounced at him.

Tang Hao glared at them coldly. He had no mercy for police officers that aided the tyrannous and bullied the innocent.

He grunted, then stuck out a foot and kicked squarely at the police officer that was pouncing at him.

The other police officer was shocked. Before he could yell, he was sent flying by a punch.

Hu Dahai was dumbfounded when he saw this. “F*ck me, this kid is insane. He even dared to beat up the police officers?”

Then, his shock turned into joy. “Hahaha! You assaulted the police officers? Let me tell you, you’re finished, kid! Totally finished! Prepare to rot in jail!”

He immediately dialed a number on his phone. “Hey, brother-in-law! There’s an incident here. There’s an insolent scoundrel here that has just beaten up two of your subordinates. Come here and arrest him!”

He ended the call then laughed at Tang Hao’s face. “I hope you like prison food, kid!”

The villagers became restless.

Things had become serious when the police officers were beaten.

“Oh no! Lil Hao was too impulsive!”

“These policemen are the worst. They only know how to bully the weak and innocent. I feel sorry for Lil Hao though, he’s a good kid!”

“No! We can’t let them arrest Lil Hao! It’s the police officers’ fault in the first place!” Tang Hao’s maternal uncle shouted.

“Right! Did they think we’re helpless weaklings? I don’t believe that they can arrest us all!” Many villagers agreed with him. Their emotions were running high.

“Brother Hao!” Shi Yan’er walked to him. Her face was apologetic and her eyes were swollen and red as if she could burst into tears at any time.

“It’s all my fault, Brother Hao. I’ve dragged you into this mess!”

“Don’t worry, it’ll be fine. I know some people. Even if the superintendent is here, he can’t do anything to me.”

Hu Dahai roared with laughter when he heard that. “Haha, you sure are a cocky kid! You’re just a delivery boy, how high can your connections get? I’ll see you die in a hundred different ways!”

Tang Hao only smirked and looked at him with disdain.

Without another word, he stepped forward and delivered a beating. Hu Dahai’s face was swollen like a pig.
