Immediately after this pain-filled moan was a series of weak baby cries.
“Waah! Waah!”
The sound was not as loud as a typical babe’s cries.
The cries sounded really weak like that of a newborn kitten.
One could tell that the child was not very healthy.
Listening to these weak cries, Pei Ge felt emotional and her eyes brimmed with tears.
“Hang in there! Hang in there! There’s still one more child!”
“Aye. I just hope that the two other babies will pull through…”
“God, since you’ve created a miracle, please continue to bless these babies and let them grow healthy…”

When the doors to the delivery room opened again, Egger finally saw the doctor exiting them.
“Dr. Wyer, how is Pei Ge right now?”
He quickly walked up to the doctor and gripped his collar tightly with his strong arms.
It seemed that he wanted to hit the doctor.
“Mr. Egger, please calm down. There’s nothing wrong with Miss Pei but her children…”
His Egger’s worry dissipated immediately when he heard that the woman was fine.
She was safe and sound!
He cared not for the second half of the doctor’s statement when he heard that the woman was fine!
“Even though she is alright, out of the three children born, two are very weak…”
Egger quickly interrupted the doctor before he could finish speaking.
“Three children?! Aren’t there supposed to be twins?”
“Cough! Our apologies. This is our hospital’s oversight…”
He became infuriated at the doctor’s apology.
“Oversight?!”
He narrowed his cold eyes at the doctor.
“I’m telling you; if there’s any mistake on the hospital’s part, don’t blame me for using tactics to tell you guys what kind of mistakes can and can’t be made.”
His voice was so threatening that Dr. Wyer broke out in a cold sweat.
While others did not know of this man’s identity, he, for his part, knew full well that this man was no simple person and how his methods were especially cruel.
“Yes, sir! Please be at ease; such an oversight won’t happen again!”
“Hmph!”
Egger scoffed following the doctor’s promise. He was about to say something and warn this doctor more but spotted Pei Ge being wheeled out of the delivery room by a few nurses.
As such, he could not be bothered to continue threatening the now trembling doctor and walked toward the woman quickly.
