The Mightiest Little Peasant

Chapter 249 - Who Is He?

Zhao Changfeng was momentarily stunned.

Then, he laughed out loud.

‘The kid must have lost his mind!

‘Otherwise, why would he do something so crazy?

‘He’s finished now!

‘He stood in front of the Luo family manor, shouted the Old Master’s full name, and ordered him to come out and meet him. That was like a brazen challenge to the Luo family’s honor!

‘How could the Luo family tolerate that?’

He knew how the Luo family got back at their enemies. He would not be surprised if that kid ended up dead.

‘You’re finished, Tang kid!’ Zhao Changfeng thought gleefully.

The servant was instantly furious.

“What did you say?” He said angrily, “I dare you to say that one more time!”

“Get Luo Wei out here!” Tang Hao said coldly, spitting out each syllable.

The servant smirked. “What a brazen guy. Are you at a level where you can address Old Master Luo by his full name? You must be out of your mind!

“Get lost immediately. If you don’t go away, I can’t guarantee what will happen to you!”

Then, he picked up his walkie-talkie and radioed the bodyguards.

Half a minute later, several burly men in black business suits came out of the house.

“That’s him! This guy is a lunatic. He’s asking the Old Master to come out and meet him!” The servant shouted while pointing at Tang Hao.

The bodyguards immediately looked hostile as they crowded around Tang Hao.

Meanwhile, Zhao Changfeng looked incredibly pleased.

‘The kid will know what true pain is once the bodyguards lay their hands on him!’

Suddenly, they heard someone shout from within the house. “Hold it right there! What are you doing?”

A tall and well-built youth came out of the house.

He was in his late twenties. He was handsome and bore a noble aura.

The guests started talking among themselves when they saw him.

Their eyes sparkled as they greeted him. “Young Master Luo!”

He was Luo Yu, the First Young Master of Luo Enterprises.

“It’s good that you’re here, First Young Master Luo! There’s a lunatic here humiliating the Old Master,” Zhao Changfeng shouted urgently as he squeezed past the crowd.

As he spoke, he pointed an indignant finger at Tang Hao.

“This guy is brazenly stupid! He’s even asking the Old Master to come out and meet him! Don’t you think that he’s a lunatic too?”

Luo Yu immediately became angry.

Zhao Changfeng was ecstatic when he saw that. That Tang kid would be dead meat once First Young master Luo became angry!

The other guests also thought the same thing.

First Young Master Luo must be furious at the person who had brazenly challenged the Luo family’s authority.

Luo Yu looked toward where everyone was looking. When his eyes met the boy, he was stunned, then his expression changed.

He did not look angry anymore, but instead, he looked respectful and even fearful.

Everyone around him was stunned. They could not believe what they saw.

Why would the First Young Master Luo show that expression toward a lunatic?

The ensuing scene caused them to be dumbstruck.

Luo Yu squeezed past the crowd and quickly walked next to Tang Hao. “I am so sorry for the oversight, Grandmaster Tang!” He said while smiling widely, “Grandfather asked me to wait for you at the entrance, but I had to walk away for a while because I had to attend to something in the house.

“I didn’t expect things to get serious while I was away. I am so sorry! Please forgive me, Grandmaster!”

The surroundings descended into a deathly silence.

The guests, servants, and bodyguards all stood stiffly on the spot, as though they had turned into stone.

Zhao Changfeng’s eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.

What was he witnessing?

The First Young Master of the Luo family was so respectful toward that kid. Furthermore, he called him ‘Grandmaster’. What was most shocking of all was that Old Master Luo had requested the First Young Master to personally attend to him at the entrance!

‘How… is this possible?’

Who was the Luo family compared to a windfall tycoon from a small mountain village?

‘This is ridiculous! Am I dreaming?’

Meanwhile, the servant was trembling and his face was pale.

That person was not a lunatic but a very important guest!

The bodyguards also trembled as they slunk away.

They felt fortunate that Young Master Luo had arrived just on time. Otherwise, they would be finished if they laid a finger on the important guest!

Tang Hao stood there and coldly regarded the First Young Master.

First Young Master Luo carried himself better than Luo Feng. He was more [composed and experienced].

“Don’t mention it!” Tang Hao nodded.

Luo Yu breathed a sigh of relief. “This way please, Grandmaster Tang!” He bowed slightly and made way for Tang Hao.

Tang Hao said nothing and walked ahead.

Everyone eventually came to their senses and exclaimed in surprise.

“Oh my god! Just who is he?” Everyone discussed hotly among themselves.

They regarded Tang Hao with curiosity and awe. That kid must have been far more than a windfall tycoon from a mountain village.

They chatted among themselves as they walked into the manor, leaving Zhao Changfeng standing there with a dazed expression.

Another commotion happened when they went into the house.

Everyone’s gaze was focused at the boy led into the hall by First Young Master Luo.

That person must have been someone important to be escorted personally by First Young Master Luo. However, they had not seen him before.

‘That person looks like a teenager. He’s too young!’

Everyone discussed hotly among themselves.

Luo Yu led Tang Hao to one corner of the hall.

The hall was very big. It could hold about a thousand people at once.

A few people walked over from a corner. The person in the lead was none other than Old Master Luo. The other people were either middle-aged or old like Old Master Luo. All of them looked like figures of authority.

“You’re here, Grandmaster Tang!” Old Master Luo said with a hearty smile as he walked over.

Everyone who heard that was surprised.

They could not believe that Old Master Luo could be so friendly and courteous toward that kid.

The people who followed behind Old Master Luo were also surprised.

Old Master Luo greeted the boy as a Grandmaster. It meant that he was a cultivator.

The typical layperson would not come into contact with cultivators or people with supernatural powers, but people of their social status would have come into contact with them in some capacity.

“Grandmaster Tang!” They also greeted Tang Hao with a smile.

They would rather make friends than enemies with cultivators.

“Here, Grandmaster Tang, let me introduce you to these people,” Old Master Luo said as he gestured toward the people behind him.

Those people were like Old Master Luo. They were important figures in the business world of Province Z.

Tang Hao remembered all of their names and greeted them in turn.

They chatted for a while before going elsewhere. Tang Hao took a glass of alcohol and sat down near the corner of the hall.

People occasionally came to chat with him in an attempt to make friends. Tang Hao saw through their intentions and casually dismissed them after a short chat.
