Chapter 417 - An’an Has Escaped
Fu Qinglun jolted, his cold gaze landing on Lin Shiyu. She was thinking of returning to her mom’s place?
He knew for a fact that she didn’t even want to spend a single second with him.
He stretched out his long legs and walked beside her bed, speaking with a deep voice, “Yes, just let her return to her mom’s place.”
“Qinglun…” Madam Fu said.
“Mom,” Fu Qinglun looked at Mama Lin, “I’ll move over to your place temporarily.”
Lin Shiyu wanted to return to her mom’s place for her confinement period and he wanted to follow her back too.
Both mothers were pleased with his solution. “Okay, let’s do it that way then.”
“An’an, don’t move, I’ll get the doctor.” Huo Yanmei ran outside the ward.
Huo Yanmei had left and Tang Mo’er walked in front, holding An’an’s ice-cold hands, trying to pass some warmth and consolation to her.
Tang Mo’er could understand Huo Yanmei in this matter, Lu Yan and An’an were people from totally different worlds and they weren’t suited for each other. However, Huo Yanmei was too rash in trying to break them up. An’an had only just woken up and she had given her such a big blow. Of course it would wreak havoc on An’an’s emotions.
An’an turned her head over, looking at Tang Mo’er. With her gentle voice slightly weak, it really made one feel heartbroken. “Little sister-in-law, did he really… not pay me a visit?”
Lu Yan really didn’t visit her?
She was unconscious for two days and almost died, he didn’t even bother to pay her a visit?
Her beautiful eyes were filled with hope, she was awaiting her reply. Tang Mo’er held An’an’s ice-cold hands tightly. “An’an, Master Yan might have been preoccupied with something important…”
Lu Yan had left two days ago and hadn’t returned since…
For the past two days, Lu Yan really didn’t pay her a visit.
An’an turned her head over, she looked at the ceiling in disappointment. Biting down on her lower lip, she tried to contain her emotions to the point her lips were bleeding.
“Little sister-in-law, I’d like to have some water. There’s a cup in the desk in front, could you please pour me a cup of water?” An’an said.
“Okay, I’ll get some water for you.” Tang Mo’er went immediately.
Seeing that Tang Mo’er had walked away, An’an got off the hospital bed surreptitiously. She had just gotten out of a critical condition and as long as she moved around, the wound on her chest would cause her pain. Very quickly, her forehead was covered in cold sweat.
She stretched out her tiny hand to pull out the tube on her other hand and sat at the side of the bed. Her feet landed on the carpeted floor and she wore her shoes before running out of the ward.
An’an had escaped.
Tang Mo’er had lost her vision and wasn’t aware of the situation. She poured a glass of water and tested the temperature, it was just right. “An’an, here is the water.”
There was no response.
“An’an.” Tang Mo’er called out again.
Huo Yanmei had came back. “An’an, the doctor is here, let the doctor conduct a full body checkup for you.”
Huo Yanmei’s voice came to an abrupt end, the hospital bed was empty and An’an had disappeared.
“Where’s An’an? Why did An’an disappear!” Huo Yanmei screamed out loud before running back out of the ward.
An’an must have gone to look for Lu Yan.
She had stabbed herself in the chest just to save Lu Yan, now that she had regained her consciousness, her first thought was to look for Lu Yan. What exactly did that man do to An’an? How had he bewitched her to the point she would repeatedly sacrifice her own life just to save him?
Crash! The cup in Tang Mo’er’s hand landed on the carpeted floor.
An’an had disappeared?
How did this happen? She was only just here!
Tang Mo’er hurriedly took out her cell phone from her purse. Gu Mohan had set his own phone number as the emergency contact on her cell phone. One press on her cell phone would allow her to be connected to him.
She dialed his number.
The melodious ringtone sounded once and Gu Mohan picked up the phone call, his deep voice could be heard on the other end. “Hello, Mo’er.”
