Chapter 68
‘This sort of state is extremely fantastic.’ Song Shuhang’s eyes glowed. In his current state, he could clearly feel everything inside and outside of his body. If he had practiced ❮Basic Buddhist Fist Technique❯ together in this state, his comprehension towards the Fist Technique would definitely deepen with half the work, twice the effect!
‘To continuously maintain my mental energy’s activity level, I still have to strive hard and train even more.’ Song Shuhang thought.
Afterwards, he continued to rest for a moment to recover his expended mental energy.
Unknowingly, half of the first lesson passed.
His three roommates had yet to arrive… Yesterday, Song Shuhang had gotten them drunk alone, but they shouldn’t still be lying dead on the ground?
As it was still early, after recovering his mental energy, Song Shuhang attempted the last method of utilizing mental energy.
‘Mental Oppression’.
One can oppress another human who had weaker mental energy than them, and cause the other party to feel terror, fear, pressure as heavy as a mountain, or negative influences. If the discrepancy between the user’s and the other party’s mental energy was huge, it might cause the other party to have a slight hallucination.
While following the ingenious method to coagulate his mental energy, he was looking for a suitable target within the class. If either three of his roommates were present, Song Shuhang would definitely test this ‘Mental Oppression’ on them.
Best friends and brothers are meant to be used for screwing around with!
It was a pity that those three fellas did not come for the lesson, therefore, he could only find a person amongst the class that he had a better relation with, or one who had conflict with him, to test it out on.
Song Shuhang thought and turned his head in all directions to search for his target.
Just then, suddenly, a voice of someone calling his name sounded.
“That should be Student Song Shuhang? You shall answer this question.” On the podium, a short-haired teacher who looked young, capable, and experienced pointed towards the photo on the student list, and designated Song Shuhang to answer the question.
This female teacher was a new teacher in Jiangnan College. Due to Teacher Renshui fracturing both his legs, she would be taking over Teacher Renshui’s lessons this entire month.
Ever since the lessons started, she had seen Song Shuhang vertically placing his textbooks, and fiddling with his phone.
Alright, it didn’t matter if he was playing with his phone, after all, they were all in college and everyone was an adult. However, Song Shuhang had even raised his head and looked around everywhere.
A female’s sixth sense told her that this Student Song Shuhang seemed to be thinking of doing something bad!?
Therefore, she found Song Shuhang’s name, comparing his photo, and designated him to come up to answer the question.
When Song Shuhang heard the female lecturer calling his name, he stood up on reflex and both his eyes looked towards this young lecturer. After that… a tragedy happened.
Song Shuhang had been withholding ‘Mental Oppression’ earlier on while searching for a guinea pig around the class. The ‘Mental Oppression’ had long been ready to be fired.
After suddenly being called out and turning to look at the female teacher, the ‘Mental Oppression’ was like an arrow on a bow that has found it’s target, and ruthlessly striked.
Song Shuhang immediately shouted ‘no good’ in his heart.
When the young female teacher locked her gaze with Song Shuhang, she suddenly felt a dizzy spell.
Shortly after, she felt that Song Shuhang’s pair of eyes was unlimitedly enlarged, and had occupied her entire vision. Similar to a beast’s eyes that could select their prey via eyesight, they had unwavering locked onto herself. That sort of oppression was as if an entire building collapsing on one’s body.
It’s so terrifying!
That Student Song Shuhang’s eyes are so terrifying. This Student Song Shuhang’s terrifying! Is he getting angry right now? Is he going to hit me?
Not knowing why, the more she thought, the more scared she was. Her tears couldn’t help but fall from her eye sockets, and her cheeks streamed with tears that couldn’t be stopped no matter what.
Below her skirt, both of her legs were continuously trembling and going soft, causing her to be unable to stand steadily.
“Wa… I’m sorry, I’m really sorry! Waaa…” the young teacher suddenly started wailing. She wiped her tears and spoke. “I will never call your name again, please don’t hit me, wuwu… So scary… please spare me…”
The scene of the female teacher crying while screaming and wiping her eyes was similar to a melodramatic Korean drama female lead with tears dripping down her face; she then pushed the door open and ran away. They could even hear her lingering crying sounds reverberate throughout the entire classroom corridor.
This was the legendary ‘getting emotional’!
All the students in the class were dumb as wooden chickens. They did not know what had happened earlier on. In the eyes of the students, the female lecturer had called Song Shuhang to answer a question, then he stood up but did not even do anything before she got emotional and ran.
What happened during that short period of time? Could it be that time had stopped?
Right now, the young female teacher, as a person involved, had run. Therefore, everyone’s gaze naturally concentrated on Song Shuhang.
‘F*ck!’ ten thousand stampeding horses went past inside Song Shuhang’s mind.
Why did he feel as if he was an extremely evil person? Furthermore, even if he were thrown into evil people’s valley, he’d be the type that was ranked within the four greatest evildoers?
He could already imagine the scene later in the afternoon—a rumor would start spreading that Jiangnan College Town’s Mechanical Engineering faculty’s 19th Department’s Class 43’s student Song Shuhang had publicly bullied a female lecturer, resulting in the said lecturer bursting into tears and running away.
‘I’m so unlucky!’ Song Shuhang covered his face and felt like dying.
❄️❄️❄️
Soon, Song Shuhang was called into the office by his class’s counsellor.
The counsellor’s surname was also Song and was slightly plump, wearing thick and heavy black-framed glasses. This was a rarely seen figure, as he only appeared in public during the start of school or after being notified of major incidents happening. Usually, he was someone whose whereabouts were unknown.
“Student Song Shuhang, can you reiterate to me what had exactly happened earlier on? I am still confused at this moment.” Counsellor Song was still baffled, and unable to make head or tails of everything.
Before he called Song Shuhang over, he had called the class monitor to understand the incident. However, upon hearing the monitor’s explanation, he was even more perplexed—the class monitor and other students said that the female lecturer had asked Song Shuhang to stand up and answer a question. So, Song Shuhang stood up, but before he had the chance to answer, the female lecturer suddenly got emotional and ran.
The entire process was that simple.
But the problem was, why did the female lecturer suddenly got emotional and ran!?
He glanced at the young female lecturer who was still incessantly tearing up beside him, with both her hands continuously wiping her tears. When she saw Song Shuhang coming over, she couldn’t help but shrink back, just like a child who had done something bad and saw the parents.
Counsellor Song did have a impression of Song Shuhang. In his memories, Song Shuhang was always a good student that felt pleasure from helping others, treated people kindly, and furthermore, his grades were good. If every student were like Song Shuhang, he, as the counsellor, would feel blissful.
So, why did Song Shuhang who could be considered a good student cause a young female lecturer to be this shocked?
Song Shuhang tried to keep his facial expression from falling apart, and use a normal tone as much as possible. “Counsellor Song, in actual fact, I am also currently unable to understand what exactly happened. I had only stood up, preparing to answer the question, but before I spoke, she had suddenly teared up and escaped. I am still bothered by this right now!”
While speaking, he explained everything that happened previously in the classroom in a ‘simplified’ manner.
There was no problem with Song Shuhang’s answer and it was the same as what everyone in the class had said.
Then, as expected, the problem lies with this young female lecturer?
Counsellor Song then again glanced at her. “Teacher Miao Xiao, did something actually happen? Could you please stop crying?”
The female lecturer had already calmed down at this moment, and felt extremely embarrassed right now. She didn’t even know what she was doing earlier on. Supposedly, she had only met Song Shuhang’s gaze, and he did not even do anything while she had actually mysteriously been intimidated until she cried…
This was simply her mysteriously losing her self-control.
“Student Song Shuhang, I’m sorry.” She summoned up her courage and stood up to apologize to Song Shuhang. “Earlier on, I…. hic… don’t even know what happened to me. Just that… hic… when I saw you, I felt intimidated… hic… and afterwards, I ran.”
While sobbing spasmodically, the capable and experienced female lecturer looked pitiful at this moment.
“…” Counsellor Song’s inner being right now was probably chaotic due to the tsunami waves and landslides. He felt like standing up and roaring with rage at the female lecturer. However, seeing how she was incessantly crying, he could only forcefully restrain the urge.
As expected, she was still too young. Although her teaching methods were remarkable, and students loved it as her lessons were easy to understand, as a lecturer, her mentality was still lacking.
“I’m sorry, I’m really sorry. Sob… I will explain to all the students.” The female lecturer wasn’t someone that placed importance in saving her face, instead, she had a straightforward personality. After knowing she was in the wrong, she immediately prepared to solve the issue.
With her straightforwardness, Song Shuhang felt even more guilty.
