Chapter 478 - Hasn’t Anyone Taught You That Girls Should Be More Demure?

Chapter 478: Hasn’t Anyone Taught You That Girls Should Be More Demure?

Gu Mohan’s deep and narrow eyes were fixated on Tang Mo’er. Today, she was wearing a light blue bell-sleeved coat and a long white muslin dress beneath. The pure color combination was reminiscent of what a young girl would wear, which accentuated her bright eyes and sparkling white teeth. She looked so beautiful and enchanting that it was hard to look away.

Right now, her luminous eyes were smiling at him. Her eyes were so beautiful and they sparkled as if they could speak. They padded softly at one’s heart like a kitten’s paw.

Gu Mohan looked away dismissively. His handsome face was composed and impassive.

“An’an, let’s go home.” He got into the car.

Tang Mo’er was a little disappointed. Mr Gu was so aloof towards her now and did not pay her even the slightest bit of attention.

“Little Sister-in-law, come with me.” An’an promptly took hold of Tang Mo’er’s hand and pulled her to the back door of the car. “Big Brother, I want to bring Little Sister-in-law home today.”

Tang Mo’er glanced at An’an. This… An’an was truly her savior!

The Rolls-Royce Phantom arrived at the “Chateau du Breuil”, which was the most lavish place in Capital and filled with prestigious people.

Gu Mohan had his own property and after his return to Capital, he and An’an had been residing in this villa. However, An’an stayed in school and it was rare for her to come home.

The female servant opened the door. An’an held Tang Mo’er’s little hand. “Little Sister-in-law, quick, come in.”

Tang Mo’er entered the villa and started sizing it up subconsciously. She had seen plenty of villas, however, this villa was inconspicuous but extravagant at the same time with its old-fashioned British-style decor and carved balustrades. Every corner of the villa revealed the taste and style of the rich and affluent.

This was his home in Capital?

Gu Mohan stood in the living room. His well-defined fingers rolled up the sleeves of his shirt. The dazzling lights shone on him and accentuated his handsome face.

“Sir, can we serve the food now?”

The servant had already prepared a sumptuous dinner and was seeking approval from Gu Mohan to serve the meal.

A melodious cellphone ring tone sounded.

He stuck one hand into his trousers pocket and whipped out a phone. He pressed on his cell phone to receive the incoming call. “Hello.”

Jun Xiyan’s pleasant voice was heard from the other line. “Mohan, have you finished your matters? Surely you didn’t forget about our date tonight?”

Gu Mohan looked down at the luxury watch on his wrist. “I didn’t forget. Xiyan, what would you like to eat tonight?”

Jun Xiyan pondered for a while. “How about Chinese cuisine?”

“Alright, I will get Yan Dong to do the reservations. I’ll pick you up later.”

“Mmm, Mohan, I will wait for you.”

Both of them hung up.

Gu Mohan placed his cell phone back into his trouser pocket. Turning around, he looked at An’an. “An’an, I have an appointment tonight so don’t wait for me to eat. Remember to rest early after dinner.”

“Big Brother, are you going on a date?”

Tang Mo’er had already heard Jun Xiyan’s voice on the other line. So it turned out he was going to have dinner with Jun Xiyan.

Her bright eyes looked at Gu Mohan with a hint of sadness.

Gu Mohan did not look at Tang Mo’er and nodded towards An’an. “I have a date with Xiyan. I’m going now.”

Gu Mohan left.

He had left.

He was going to pick Jun Xiyan up for dinner.

She came here wanting to spend more time with him, but he had a date with someone else.

An’an tugged on Tang Mo’er’s hand. “Little Sister-in-law…”

Tang Mo’er pursed her lips. Her face was pale. “An’an, thank you. I’m alright so don’t worry about me. I’m hungry, let’s have dinner.”

Both of them had finished their dinner. Tang Mo’er went to the guest room.

She stood by the bed. She reached her fair hand out to take off her light blue coat. All of a sudden, she felt as though something was biting on her long skirt.

Looking down, there was a large creature with golden fur biting on her skirt. The eyes of the creature kept staring at her and it was barking away.

“Ah!”

Golden fur!

Where did this golden retriever come from?

Tang Mo’er was terrified of dogs, especially this one which seemed strong and… bitey. What if it lunged forward and bit her?

But it was imperative to stay calm when one encountered a dog, as the dog would be agitated if one was to overreact.

Tang Mo’er swiftly gave two coughs as she tried to calm her thudding heart. Her fair, delicate hand tugged on her long skirt and she wanted to pull it back from the golden retriever’s mouth. “Hi, Golden Fur, nice to meet you. Would you please let go of my skirt? It’s not very polite to bite a girl’s skirt when you first meet them.”
