Chapter 574 - There’s Still a Long Time Before This Lifetime Ends for the Both of Us
Lu Jinwen closed the bathroom door, asking her to wash herself clean.
As he stood on the balcony holding a cigarette between two fingers, he continued puffing on it, smoking three cigarettes without any break.
He stubbed the third cigarette out on the ashtray and turned around, looking at the bathroom door with bloodshot eyes. He felt as though an eternity had passed, but she still wasn’t done showering.
He walked over, placing his hand on the doorknob and planning to open the door.
But he couldn’t open it, she had locked it from the inside.
She locked the door.
He would never drop by in the morning, but he appeared punctually every night, doing horrendous things to her in bed.
But his deeds were disrupted one day after Lin Xuanji was found to be pregnant.
She carried the baby for almost a full trimester.
When he calculated the dates, he realized the baby wasn’t his.
So the baby must have been Jun Mosheng’s.
She had gotten pregnant after that one time in the cabin.
She was pregnant with an illegitimate child.
She used to suffer from bad pregnancy symptoms when she was pregnant with Mo’er but this time, there weren’t any of those symptoms. The baby was extremely strong and even after those brutal sessions every night, she hadn’t miscarried the baby yet.

Lu Jinwen snapped out of his reverie, looking at Jun Mosheng who was seated across from him.
Jun Mosheng glanced at him too, giving a spurious smile and he waved his cell phone around. “Young Master Lu, it’s a call from Orchid Park. Excuse me.”
Jun Mosheng picked up the phone call and he didn’t use the loud speakers and so he spoke on the phone privately.
Lu Jinwen didn’t move, pinning Jun Mosheng with his gaze as he tapped his fingers on his trousers rhythmically. No one could tell what was on his mind.
Soon, Jun Mosheng hung up the call. “Young Master Lu, the person hidden in Orchid Park has already boarded the private jet and is due to arrive in an hour. The person you’ve been yearning for, she’s coming soon.”
Lu Jinwen stopped tapping his fingers, he smiled. “Young Master Jun shall stay and wait together for the hour then.”
Jun Mosheng shrugged his shoulders, receiving the tea that the helper handed over and he took a sip of it.
Lu Jinwen got up and went upstairs.

After Lu Jinwen was gone, Lin Xuanyin sat down on the couch. She looked at Jun Mosheng and said, “Young Master Jun, many years have passed. Don’t you want to know about that child?”
That child, the child Lin Xuanji was pregnant with.
Jun Mosheng placed the teacup on the coffee table, glancing at Lin Xuanyin with nonchalance. “It seems like Mrs Lu is ready to share more about that child. Continue, I’m listening.”
“Young Master Jun, my younger sister was pregnant with a baby boy.”
“Oh?”
“Back then, Jinwen was fuming with anger after he realized that my younger sister was pregnant. He ordered someone to terminate her pregnancy… by forcing her to take an abortion pill.”
Lu Jinwen had forced Lin Xuanji to take an abortion pill, he wanted to terminate the pregnancy.
Lin Xuanyin observed Jun Mosheng’s expression carefully and she continued. “But that baby was really strong and adding on the fact that Xuanji was already past her first trimester, the baby survived. However, I’ve asked the doctor. He said that even if the baby is born, he was bound to have some sort of birth defect. With such a great dosage of abortion pills, the baby would certainly be negatively affected. He would most likely end up mentally handicapped even if he survived the ordeal.”
Jun Mosheng listened to her words and remained straight-faced. He suddenly smirked, looking at Lin Xuanyin with an indecipherable expression and said, “Mrs Lu, do you think that a person like Lu Jinwen would continue leading a good life?”
