Chapter 736 - It’s Alright If You Don’t Like Me, Because I Don’t Like You Anymore Either
Bai Feifei had never imagined that she would have the opportunity to interact with a big shot like Gu Mohan.
She stole another glance at Gu Mohan. The tall and handsome man was standing in the living room. He was wearing a tailored white shirt and a pair of black trousers with a black leather belt around his waist. From head to toe, he was impeccable, his clothes were ironed perfectly without any creases, which revealed his high societal status. The dazzling lights illuminated his handsome and chiseled features which were so refined that one could hardly look away.
He was carrying Little Munchkin in one arm. The outline of his handsome shoulder formed a straight line with his strong arm, and he exuded the very image of masculinity.
This was the President of C.T Corporation, who was the top tycoon in Capital.
Bai Feifei’s pretty face blushed and her heart thumped in anticipation.
At this juncture, Huo Yanmei spoke up. “Dinner is ready. Mohan, Miss Bai, let’s have dinner together.”
…
Little Munchkin did not go to the washroom. He did not like the atmosphere at the dining table, and so he had used that excuse to leave.
Just then, he heard the sound of stilettos clicking against the floor. Bai Feifei saw Little Munchkin. “Young Master Gu, how are you.”
Little Munchkin raised his head. Bai Feifei was looking at him with a solicitous expression on her face.
He did not like this woman at all. There were many women who had tried to please him in the past. All of them wanted to become his Mom.
But he knew that all of these women did not truly like him.
A child’s world was the most pure and innocent. He could tell at one glance if a person genuinely liked him or not.
“Auntie, I’m well. And you?” Little Munchkin greeted Bai Feifei out of courtesy and politeness.
Bai Feifei looked at Little Munchkin. This was Gu Mohan’s son and the first grandson of the Gu family. When he grew up, he would become the successor of C.T Corporation. This Little Munchkin was born with a silver spoon in his mouth.
It was well known that Gu Mohan doted on this son very much and had single-handedly raised him these three years.
If she could make Little Munchkin like her, then she would be able to marry Gu Mohan.
Bai Feifei’s smile widened at the thought of this. “Young Master Gu, do you like Auntie? Auntie likes you and your Daddy very much. Can Auntie be your Mom?”
Little Munchkin shook his head and enunciated his words clearly, “Sorry Auntie, I don’t like you, and so you can’t be my Mom.”
A frozen smile was all that was left on Bai Feifei’s face.
“Yelin.” At this moment, Huo Yanmei walked over and looked at Little Munchkin sternly. She reproached, “Auntie is talking to you nicely. How could you be so disrespectful?”
Upon being called disrespectful, Little Munchkin pouted his mouth. “Grandma, if I was really disrespectful, I would have asked Daddy to chase this Auntie out. Grandma, you criticized me without getting the facts clear. As a senior, are you being respectful?”
“You!”
Since Little Munchkin’s rebuttal was so coherently expressed, it rendered Huo Yanmei dumbfounded.
Huo Yanmei looked at Little Munchkin’s luminous, large eyes. He was indeed the spitting image of Tang Mo’er, which was why she did not feel close to him at all.
Now, Gu Mohan did not harbor much affection for her, and he did not even show respect towards her at the dining table. It was Tang Mo’er’s fault that their relationship had deteriorated to this point today.
Huo Yanmei walked ahead and looked at Little Munchkin seriously. “Yelin, this Auntie is your Daddy’s matchmaking partner. It does not matter if you don’t like her, there will be other Aunties who will match-make with your Daddy in the future. When your Daddy meets an Auntie that he likes, he will marry her and make that Auntie your Mom.”
Little Munchkin looked at Huo Yanmei and his eyes reddened. “Grandma, it’s alright if you don’t like me, because I don’t like you anymore either.”
With that, Little Munchkin ran away immediately.
Huo Yanmei froze on the spot. Little Munchkin’s sentence – Because I don’t like you anymore either… reverberated in her ears.
Little Munchkin had said “I don’t like you anymore…”
Before this, Little Munchkin still liked her, because she was his Grandma.
…
After escaping, Little Munchkin ran to the study room, picked up the telephone on the office table and dialed a cell phone number.
The melodious ringtone sounded and the phone was picked up soon after. A soft voice was heard. “Hello?”
